Anyone,.

Could this be because my server has changed the password for mysql?..

It could be that your iPage hosting company has screwed something up! They have a habit of 'upgrading' things, which alters settings without telling any of their customers - and then swear blind that they haven't altered a thing!.

If your connection was working before, and you genuinely haven't altered anything, then you should still be able to connect..

One thing you can do is to go to your iPage hosting company personal control panel, go to the section that deals with MySQL and elect to change the password. Then try connecting again..

Hope this helps - Vger..

I have tried changing it but I can only change it randomly and not back to what it was and still no luck..

You should be able to delete the user and password then recreate the user and password for that particular database...

It means that you were unable to connect to the database using username mharpboo on server localhost with the password supplied.

Check your configure.php files database information at the bottom of the file, then check it again and triple check it make sure that the server is correct the username is correct the database name is correct and the password is correct this to include case sensitivity..
