On the Medifast Diet can you go back to Phase 1?

Enter your email address below and we'll send you the latest coupon codes to save on Medifast every month. We'll even give a lucky person a month supply of free food.

Quick question... On the Medifast Diet can you go back to Phase 1? Thanks for any answer. 2nd question I got is.. Other topics will be discussed that may not be appropriate for the easily offended..

Please discontinue reading Tough Love threads if they are going to cause you to become upset..

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++.

Medifast is a wonderful program with many different types of support and a fabulous community. We understand that everyone is an adult and this is not a "mean" group. For some of us, we thrive on this program if we have a place where we are held accountable, where we commit to the program 100% and where we have a place to chat with others who feel the same..

What we believe:.

1. Cheating on Medifast is NOT a strategy to get us out of our fat suits.

2. The only way for us to learn about our problems with food is to take the word "choice" out of the equation when it comes to Medifast. Our only "choice" is 5 packets and 1 weighed and measured lean and green a day.

3. We look to those who have been successful with this strategy to continuously remind us about why this way, for us, is the way to go.

4. We believe that, even though we are completely committed, knowing that we have a group that holds us accountable for our actions is both useful and important.

We commit to:.

1. Remove the word "choice" from our vocabularies.

2. Follow the Medifast plan as written, including transition and maintenance.

3. Tell our "inner brat" to shut the H-E-** up and quiet him or her through abstenance from off plan foods.

4. Give and receive tough love without complaining or calling each other "mean".

5. Cheerlead fellow group members as they follow the path to thinness.

6. Make Medifast the LAST diet we ever go on.

7. Check in with the group as often as our schedule reasonably allows.

8. Be honest with ourselves and our Medifast family and to stay 100% OP at all times. We also swear that WHEN (not if) we are having a tough time and feel like we may eat SLUDGE, to come to our Medifast family first and ask for support and help to get us through the struggle..

Getting the banner:.

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably can help you..

HAve a great morning all. Happy Hump Day! HMMmmmm........

Morning, all...thanks for the coffee, ladies. I don't think I mentioned.....

CONGRATS to Della and Nan on G - 0 - A - L !!!.

Welcome Dierdre! This is one losing group. You can't find more accountability in all of Medifast land...he*l, in all of cyberspace!.

Glad Emma's feeling better,.

Penny.

And you've solved you photo issues...so when will we see more? Do you make your rings from scratch...or start with a 'something' and embellish?.

Gotta keep movin' here...busy day...

Great coffee, Penny. Glad to hear your little pink bundle is feeling better..

THanks to both of you for getting us started..

Drinking water and toasting your day, Mia!.

I think the massive doses of Vitamin D I get from the tanning salon (up to 7 mins) give me a great deal of energy. I have had 2 now and both night could sleep only 6 hours. Not good. I am not out of bed able to do anything constructive. Hope to see if my mind ever kicks in again. Don't know.

I miss quilting very much..

Can't stop smiling when I think of Anna and her DH. Why stop smiling, anyway!.

Have great 100% OP days, Tlers..

Beth..

Jan, nope it's all from scratch. I even make my own ear wires on the earrings. The rings start with a bead or bauble and a length of wire. And that's it. I'm going to get my SD card now to load the images on a CD. I'll get a few pictures up of the rings...

Beth-love tanning! 15 mins once or twice a week during the gray season. Hope you have a great day..

Congrats to those at goal!!!!!!!!!!!.

Penny -can't wait to see the pics...

I've gotta make time to get back to tanning. I have an ongoing membership and I haven't gone in months. I love the glow it gives me...

Della and Nan way to go on making goal... awesome job.

Penny glad your little one is better my son went back to school today after missing monday & tuesday... good old strep.. How far upstate are you? i'm about 75 miles nw of the city...

Wish we could have seen Anna's dh when he saw her....

Okay as for me glad I'm back been too busy to get on computer but staying OP.. I've lowered my goal so i'll be doing 5&1 a bit longer. Time to shower & go to work.. I hope to check back later.

Great day all.

Cindy..

Morning all! Thanks for the coffee, I have a heck of a day in front of me and I need all the help I can get. Bad part of working like this is I get "De Syndrome" *snicker*...

Oh, Shut it and go eat! <snicker>.

Penny - Can't wait to see the rings. Glad E's getting back to her old self..

And everything in the old brain just went blank!!! Very sleepy this morning. Waving to everyone. I'll be back when all the pistons are firing..

193/9/18.......

Oh, Steph in AZ - Which library do you work at? I want to come and steal all the flushing mechanism's from the LADIES toilets.......

Good morning everyone..

I'm in a vicious mood today, I think my hormones are making an appearance. I just want to pop in on nearly every thread and say "Quit whining!".

I have a lot of meetings today, I'll have to be extra careful not to snap at anyone..

Penny- I love wire wrapped jewelry. I have a few pretty pieces I got from Etsy, light sea blue swarovski crystal earrings wrapped in oxidized silver wire and a stunning but tiny rutilated quartz pendant also wrapped in oxidized silver. I can't wait to see your work!..

Morning all!.

Penny - glad the little one is on the mend..

Tanning - I need to start tanning. I am a pale girl. And since I haven't worn shorts or heaven forbit a bathing suit in about 5 years, I am even paler than usual. Since I'm going to Maui in May, I need to tan in advance (which my naturally tan husband doesn't understand). So, when do you suppose I should start? And for how many minutes? I need to look into this soon..

I had a clothes porn dream last night. Beautiful small pretty clothes. And they all fit. Now that's a good dream..

Happy OP day to all...

Morning ladies! My dh was surprised and very proud of me, especially when he found out I hadn't had candy since November 14. he also said he'd go on it with me before he realized what I was doing. He works out far too much (like 3-4 hours a day) to do this but it was very sweet.

..

We are on our way to the mall and movies I will catch you all later.

Thanks so much for everything!..

We are so happy for you Anna... Enjoy your day.

Cindy..

Anna!!! - Congratulations! I'm so glad you were able to do a quick check in to tell us. Happy Happy Happy for you!.

Cindy - what was your original goal and why did you lower it? Not questioning your decision, just wanting to learn about what led to it. Since I actually plan to REACH goal this time, I figure I better learn all I can about it. That's a first for me..

So I'm in Los Angeles in a section of downtown they call LA Live. It's about a six block area of all sorts of things like the Grammy Museum, convention center, etc. Lots to see and I hope I'll get to see some of it. The conference will keep me busy..

It was a bit of a struggle to stretch my meals over the course of a day when the day got two hours longer due to the time difference. But I did it. I must confess, though, that I was not OP with my L&G. I had the L but no G. I went to the restaurant in the hotel - really very hungry. I looked over the fancy schmancy menu and was floored at the wierd and off plan stuff that was available.

When they brought it out, it was this piece of cod surrounded by what I would characterize as a sauce, with some corn kernels and brussels sprounds around it. That sauce was actually pureed cauliflower but there was hardly any of it on the plate and I couldn't separate it from the off plan foods. This one little piece of fish alone cost me $32.00 and I could not bring myself to order a $20 bowl of romaine to top it off. So, I'm sorry - I just couldn't do it. I didn't have a green yesterday.

I can't believe my very first day and I have to report I was off plan..

The good news is that I spotted a restaurant where I will eat tonight. It's a steak and sefood place and I believe it's menu items will work for me. I'm going down soon to scout out other options when I'm in a pinch. It was my first night in a "foreign" land, and it was already dark and cold, so I just did what I could..

I'm happy to report that my pre-prepared brownie cookies and soup breads stayed chilled in my suitcase, because I packed them in a little soft sided cooler with some blue ice. They were still cool when I put them in the fridge. So looking forward to having those additional items this week. Will let you know if I experience any spoilage..

I'll be going on a site visit this afternoon to a couple of communities where the schools are feeding the kids healthy meals and making time for physical activity, and the communities are also involved in various ways. Can't wait to see these really tangible changes in action and take the information back to our state, which is on track to be the most obese state in the nation within the next two to four years. I'm just so happy that I'm doing my part in this and am not so much a walking hypocrite any longer..

Thank goodness for technology that lets me connect to you all - my lifeline!!.

Keep up the great work..

Penny - looking forward to seeing your latest creations..

HUGS..

ANNA!!! Thanks for checking in, so glad to hear from you! Hooray for a proud hubby!.

No chopped tofu, time to get out of bed. Don't ask my why I was awake and checking the computer at 6:40, there's no asplainin' it.....

Tkd..my original goal was 135... just felt that was on the highn side for me... I think my best weight will be 125-130, will figure that out when I get closer.

Cindy..

Freya - how you holding up?.

Cindy - thanks for the update. I'll watch for more from you as you move closer and figure it out. I'm headed for 140 but haven't seen that since about my freshman year of high school. I am 5'5" and honestly don't think that's too small, but I have no clue. Will worry more about it when I get closer. For now, I just want to learn from everyone else...

Penny... YAY for little pink bundle getting her full allotment of sleep! Kids heal so much better if they get some sleep..

Beth... Does the tanning thing help your mood? Because this is our first winter NOT in Arizona and I think it has a lot to do with the craptastical mood of His Royal Highness Sir GRUMPSalot that I'm married to these days! I know there is a tanning booth in the next town over. I may have to haul his PITA over there!.

MT_Cup: HUGS!!! You can do it!.

Anna!!! YAY! Have a wonderful time with that sweet DH of yours!.

Cindy, glad your son is feeling better!.

Mia... if I could bottle the excess energy my kids use to run wild outside even in the dead of winter, I think I could make a fortune! Sending energetic thoughts your way!!.

Good morning, Jan!.

Anony.... SOOOOooooo with you on that! Finally told Sir GRUMPSalot yesterday that his attitude was HIS problem not MINE and I couldn't be bothered worrying about it. He pouted, but went and took a nap (he hasn't been sleeping well lately) and was appropriately contrite when he got back up!.

Hi, TKD... sucks about your choices for dinner. $32 for a piece of fish???? HOLY CRAPOLA....

Hi, Freya... hugs!.

Okay, so I just switched my work schedule back to 3 12 hour shifts Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights (which except for recently has been my shift for the past 10 years and I've loved it!) When we first moved to Idaho, I was told if I wanted to work 12s I would have to agree to flip between days and nights. Um, no, my body can't do that and I DON'T work dayshift. Too many freaking doctors and visitors walking around. I like my hospital to be MY hospital..

Anyway, since last May I've been working 5 8hour night shifts and feel like I've missed the entire time frame... felt like I was ALWAYS working and ALWAYS tired... all the housework was falling to SIR GRUMPSalot and the children (with predictable results AACCCKK!!!) So, I'm in the process of reclaiming my house! Yesterday I made the mistake of opening the fridge... oooooh... it was bad. It is now SPOTLESS.

Sugar and fat filled creamer for the coffee I don't drink anymore? GONE! All sorts of garbagy stuff that the kids don't need either (and honestly, it is in the fridge/freezer because they DON'T eat it... it was dropped off by a friend after her restaurant closed and has languished in our kitchen.) GONE!!!.

So, today I'm back to tackle more disgustingness in the kitchen and get as much of the cupboards clean/organized as possible..

On the plus side, instead of eating the odd bits of leftovers (so they wouldn't go to waste)... I fed them to the VERY appreciative bulldog! (I loves my baby Winston!!).

Have a great day, guys!..

Groan... is it really morning ladies? I'm ready to go back to bed.

Hope you all are doing well! Here's to a lovely, on plan day!..

Thanks for checking, hon, and I have seen every kind thing you've said to me, even if I haven't managed to reply..

I've been on "mood swing roulette" - spinning the wheel through all 5 stages: anger, denial, bargaining, grief, acceptance, in no particular order. It's been kind of hilarious. But I've been on an uptick since yesterday afternoon, getting things done, feeling really good..

I'm sure another crash is coming, but right now I feel fantastic. Woke up this morning singing "As long as I know how to love I know I'll stay alive! I've got all my life to live..." *giggle*..

Hello Ladies!.

I just thought I would pop by and let you know that I have lost more weight in the last week then I did in the whole month of December!.

Humm, now I'm not the brightest bulb in the room, but the only difference is I was not 100% in Dec. and I am following the plan to a "T" now..

Nuff said.....

Awesome Freya! We need those unpredictably up-tick days to get through the others. Enjoy it while it is here. The good news is that you're not fat and feeling hopeless as if any one man was the only one. You're just embarking on your new life. The world is yours..

Just went down to the gift shop to buy a long sleeved knit shirt to wear outside because it is colder than I thought. It was an extra large - not a 2x 3x or 4x! Might have been a man's xl but it's still the first xl I've been able to wear - male or female. Walked around a bit outside and it was great. I love to watch a city waking up...

I had a lovely NSV yesterday! I was turning my okcupid profile back on (taking off the "seeing someone" and updating the info a bit). I realized that my body type was "average" and I thought that maybe that wasn't the most accurate. My choices were (on the smaller end): average, fit, thin, and skinny. I asked a friend if I could use "thin" and she looked startled that I would question it and said "of course!".

So there you have it. I'm "thin" on okcupid. And 2 pounds below my goal. And on day 1 of Transition..

Wheeee!!!!!.

*hugs and squeezes* and big thanks to everyone who was so kind to me the last couple days. I know Morty's having a hard time for him to walk away from something he was enjoying so much. It hurts me, but I will get over it. One day at a time..

Anyway, I appreciate all of you so much!!!..

Freya, I feel badly for Morty, realizing he has something going on within himself that he needs to work on. Otherwise, why would he walk away from a woman and relationship that was great. I do feel badly for him (yeah, I knowrepeating yourself is one of the many signs of being an old person.

)but I wanted to deck him for hurting you..

I like the Freya I've met on this site and hate that you were blindsided, hurt by someone you were enjoying so very much..

Anna!!! I love, love, love hearing from you!!!!.

Penny so glad that your little one is feeling a bit better. Hoping she improves quickly..

Jan, loved the shampoo & Dawn giggle. Thank you for being on this site..

That is it! Used up all the chopped tofu I had......

Gotta get my bum out of this chair and doing somethin' constructive....not that writing to youse guys ain't creative......

It's been a crazy day here, too. Stewpid werk..

Cindy, I'm right across the river from Albany. You must be in Dutchess County?.

I have so many nice pictures now. Whoda' thunk my good old Winter White Corelle would be the solution?.

I am going to combine several pictures so I can show you a bunch at once, without hogging several posts. Before I share any jewelry pictures, I have to share this one, though.....

Hahaha! Thanks for the picture, Penny. Glad I wasn't drinking anything when I saw that.

Too funny..

Sounds like today is a great day for everyone! The sun is shining here, but it's just being a tease. Yesterday it was a balmy 43 degrees and today? 16. Come on, spring! We know you're there! Looking on the bright side, if it were consistently warm I'd want to be out walking everyday and I just can't add that activity to my plan yet, so it can stay cold for another week..

As I suspected, the tingly mouth issue has subsided. Thank goodness as that was really annoying for those two days! Today is a great day and I'm thrilled that I'm not ruining it by filling my body with sludge anymore!..

Thanks for the tough love from yesterday. I needed it and deserved it. I think food, but especially sweets, are like an addiction for me. I think it needs to be an all or nothing thing. I'm going for nothing!.

My goal for today is to get in all my water. Usually it's easy for me and I end up drinking more than I need. But for some reason the last 2 days have been a struggle to get in my minimum. Not sure why....

Happy Wednesday. It's cold, windy, and rainy here. It's going to be a long day trapped inside with a bunch of 8-year-olds. Wish me luck!..

Here are some pendants....

And some earrings....

And bookmarks....

My photomerge skills are much better in the pared down version I have at home. Stay tuned for the rings up in a minute...

Dang your talented Penny! I love that silver swirl ring with no stone! Since you've been so busy making beautiful things, I'll forgive you for ignoring us..

Knitty - I hope to heck you meant you were going for ALL! <laffin> Sorry you're locked up with a bunch of 8 YO's. One is more than enough for ME!.

Jess - Glad that cleared up. You scared me yesterday when you first posted!..

Penny I'm in orange county... Love the earings.

Cindy..

Thanks, De & Cindy! Yes, De, I've been cheating behind TL's back with my wire and tools. Once I get started, I just keep going. I suppose there are worse things to be addicted to!.

Today is a good day. I was thrilled when I got dressed this morning and was able to wear this very form-fitting zebra-stripe turtleneck with some cute black slacks. I stopped short of wearing this great, wide, black elastic belt with three buckles which I absolutely LOVE. It just looked too Peg Bundy-ish. But I'm yippy skippy about the turtleneck...

Cindy, my company built and manages the NY International Plaza over in back of the airport!..

Penny- Holy crow! I bow at your insanely creative feet. I have bought SO many beads and jewelry-making supplies in the past, but I find that once I get them home I can never figure out what I want to do with them. You are such an inspiration!.

De- It freaked me out, too. I felt a bit like a hypochondriac for googling my "symptom", but I have so many environmental allergies that I was worried I was maybe allergic to something in one of the Medifast foods. It was actually a bit of a relief to see it was just blood sugar as I get mine checked (along with cholesterol) every year and my numbers are always normal...

Mind not working now..

Tanning good. Ugh! Yes for mood improvement. I've been taking the 50,000!U per day per my MD'sThis 7 minute jolt really fired me up, not constructively, for a little over 24 hours..

Now I need a drool bib..

Beth..

Penny, my oldest would LOVE any of your designs. I may have to get in touch with you privately to buy something to snazzy up her prom dress!!!..

Thanks, ladies! Just looking at them gives me more ideas and makes me want to go home and do more. Unfortunately, I have to go and get my nails done since I've been using them as tools! LOL!.

Ella, I am totally in PROM gear these days, looking at all the trends in color and style. I could totally hook her up. I'm in the process of doing cool hair jewelry, too. My daughter wears them and they look beautiful on an updo, or over a tiny rubber band. They're little spirals that sort of twist into the hair. What color is her gown? Feel free to email me (address in my signature is fine) and we can talk about it!..

Afternoon ladies! I enjoyed the extended luxury of my bed late into the morning again today. I had some very vivid dreamsone of them was food porn. I went off plan.

Right in front of De!.

Yes, you were there! Sheesh, if THAT's not a dream I was glad to wake up from.....

Has anyone ever tried making two pancakes together when you need to double up a meal? I always make just one pancake anyway, and when I use two packets it almost has the consistency of a REAL pancake. Mmmmm..

Speaking of pancakesyesterday when I was at IHOP (and I noticed that it was free pancake day, too), I felt not a BIT of temptation to any of the sludge. I didn't gaze longingly at DH's plate, I didn't try to imagine the sludge I would have eaten before, I just opened the menu to confirm my choice that I'd made from the Internet and ordered. I'm going to call it a NSV!.

DH did as he was told and hid the scale from me sometime while I was out for my massage last night. Commence the scaleless month of March. I have nothing to go by but "Am I 100% on plan?" and the fit of my size 14 jeans. Bring. It. On...

Woohoo! good Medifast morning! I'm super excited because I am a daily weigher (not a good plan for everyone) and I have lost 5 lbs since Sunday morning! Hello - that's only 3 days! I didn't expect this first week to be like a "regular" first week since I'm a returning Medifast person, but guess what? It looks like it is! Yay!!!.

Hope everyone has a great day!..

Ditto sister..

Penny - I want the things for my hair!! want want want. I wear a braid and ponytails a lot, I bet it's super cute..

Oh De - I work in Maryvale... and sadly, our library is being remodeled so unless you get here by tomorrow, you can not come in and steal our pipes. So sorry. Though I got my promotion and will be moving to a South Phoenix/Laveen branch soon. They have lovely pipes, perhaps in a month you can come steal those?.

We had some guys in here doing some last minute "huddling" about the remodel, and I think I've found the next stallion for my stable. *dreamy eyes*..

Well, being in Maryvale explains the stolen pipes!!! LOL... (my ex-husband went to Maryvale)...

Steph - Hmmm...I work downtown so the Laveen branch might be doable......

Rachel - Bwahahahaha!!! Finally someone realizes I AM everywhere, even in your dreams!..

Heh heh heh....

I'll post pictures of those, too, as soon as I can! They're fun and cute! They're in a set of 5..

Rachel, (shaking finger a la De) doubling up meals does not a 100% OP-er make... Even if you don't plan on having lots of waking hours, have them closer together. Doubling up defeats the purpose...

Penny - 2 things. First you sell stallions in sets of 5?? Have you been holding out on us??!!.

And second - I do NOT wave my finger in people's faces. Hmphff!..

Defeats the purpose of what, exactly? Dirtying double the dishes? If it makes you feel better, I didn't really double up, anyway. I just cooked two of them together and then ate half of the finished product for each of my first two meals. Which I had very close together...

Okay - guess that makes you OP then. Makes me feel better..

The defeated purpose is that of eating six times per day and keeping your metabolic system from going on a roller coaster ride...

Going out on a limb here, but I think she thought you were doubling up on meals because of time restraints, and that the purpose she mentioned is probably that part of the Medifast program is to learn to eat small meals every 2-3 hours. I kind of read your post the same way..

That said, there ARE occasions when life interferes and it IS more important to get in all 5 Medifast meals. Once in a while, in a pinch, is ok, but one shouldn't make it a daily habit..

And we posted at the same time.......

De, I have a whole yard full of them - you should see. The trouble is finding five that go together well.....

Too bad I live across the country. I could pop over and help with that...

Hi again gang.

Just returned from a pre-conference brunch session from 10-12pm where, at 11am I sat theerehappily eating my crunch bar. Love this program!.

Penny thanks for sharing the pics of the jewelry. lovely on all counts..

The conference doesn't actually start till 3:30pm so I'm thinking about taking myself to the Grammy museum and then out to a late lunch for lobster tail and salad!.

Be back later..

Tdk: Yum!.

I have to stay away from the blogs. All I want to ask the bloggers is "have you read ANY of the material available for you about this program?".

I am going to veg out on netflix for a while..

Beth..

Beth- My favorite one as of late is the "I haven't been weighing my green lately and I've been eating all sorts of them that aren't on the MF-approved list, but eating vegetables isn't what made me fat, so it's fine.".

Nope! Sorry! News flash: You're not actually OP! There's a reason for everything on MF, including what kind and how much of a green you can have...

He. This is why I try to stay in here as much as possible. It's ugly out there!..

So what you guys are saying is, if I substitute 5 ounces of poundcake for my lean (cause it's meat cause I cooked it in a meatloaf pan), and 1.5 cups of peanut butter for my green (cause it grows on a bush, making it a suitable vegetable), that's fine, right?.

I'm off to BJ's wholesale (terrible name, that) to find L&G fixin's. I'm hoping they'll have some frozen chicken breasts or fish..

And I just triumphantly ate my last stew! Chili, you're next...

I read a blog where a woman thought she did ok eating only 3 pieces of bacon, because she could have had cake instead! oh my. I told her she failed, she didn't agree. I did have a nice message from someone who said I was very polite and diplomatic about it!.

I love the stallions that roam free. Looks like I'll have to put my working cowboy boots on and get ready with the training harness.....

I'm eating my delicious green and waiting to add my lean to tonights COT pizza bread...

Anon - NOW you've got it! And don't forget the big soft pretzels slathered in Cheez Whiz followed by a tequila chaser...

Anony, between BJs and Sams Club, I can always find something great for dinner. Tonight is probably going to be another salad... maybe with bison this time. Ooooooooh.... Love those 7-ounce proteins!.

I skipped out on the nail place today. Maybe tomorrow. I'm going to spend some quiet Mommy time with my wire and beads while hubby takes the little one to the Y. She's still a little snuffly, but better. That amoxicillin stuff is wondrous. I do have to be careful, though, because i'm allergic to anything with a "cillin" on it...

Penny your jewlery is just stunning! I was so impressed!..

So Penny.....

You can't have cheesewhizacillin?! Oh that is too bad because I eat it all the time 'cause the TL'ers said it is ok to eat it. Didn't you?..

I'm having chicken breast and asparagus for dinner. Chicken is crockpotting now, so I'll be able to shred it and weigh out exactly what I get... and then serve the rest to DH and the kids. Got an entire bank of kitchen cabinets emptied, scrubbed, and refilled with an actual sense of "order".... (DH walked into the kitchen and said, "Wow... peanut butter next to bread, what a concept!" Even better... the entire center of the lowest top cupboard has stuff for me!)..

We were at the store Sunday and were reading the shopping list the kids wrote up... my 14 year old son (who knows better) spelled cheese "cheeze". Steven threatened to buy a can of Cheeze Whiz to bring home and tell him obviously THAT was what he had requested! (My kids hate that stuff.)..

Please ladies! stop with the sludge talk..

I can't take it today...

Question: Where do you buy bison meat? Really! I want to try it. I check the grocery store. none. I checked Costco. None. Where or where is it?..

Cheri I suggest to keep trying grocery stores. It really is worth the hunt as it is very good and organic. Here in FL I know they carry it at Publix stores, but I don't think there are any Publix's outside the South East...

You MUST be diplomatic! When ever I tried to point out over in MCville someone was just making lame excuses for bad behavior I was chastised severly for being mean. Finally, after reading way too many times that "we're only human", I realized that I don't actually care one whit whether the excuse makers lose weight or not and I gave up calling people out on their pathetic excuses..

That and I realized I probably WAS mean a couple times..

Hey, I raised 3 kidsI'm tired of excuses already!..

Do you have a Trader Joe's nearby? They usually sell buffalo burgers and some other buffalo product in their freezer case..

My hubby is a meat cutter and they usually only get it a few times a year. I think the price may have something to do with that...

Oh, you aren't even in the "Mean" ball park Nan. Rogues wrote the book on mean and have a slew of names attributed to us to prove it!.

I may be one of the most "Blocked" members in the community! <laffin> I'm with you though. When things took such a turn to the ugly after the De thread, I just stopped caring if they lost or not. If they want to lie face down in a box of sludge, that's their choice and more power to them!..

Nan, thank you! I was just over at Etsy working on my shop. It's a lot of work! Glad I only have to do it once. There are a lot of details - shipping, payment, returns, all kinds of policies that really need to be clearly written. And then I get to do the fun stuff - listing jewelry!.

I found bison at BJ's, actually. The same kind that I've found in the supermarket here. The downside is that it's grain-fed. There is a local place that I absolutely LOVE -.

I go there every time I can afford it. All natural, happy buffalo!.

Cheezwhizacillin! ROFL!!!.

I'm off to get some dinner together for my hunnies. I'll check back later...

De wins. De rocks. De was helpful to ME in getting it thru my thick head at the beginning that there is only 1 sure way to do this plan and that's 100%!!.

In the spirit of things, I just now posted over in MC on a thread about how the poster just can't seem to eat all 5 Medifast meals per day because she's just too full! My hunch is it won't be received well. It's just that "I can't eat all the food!" translates to "I'm having a few little BLT's of non plan food everyday and I just can't manage to eat 5 Medifast meals and a proper L & G, too" Call me cynical...

Penny pm me the info on how to find you on etsy if you can because I would like to buy some jewlery from you for my daughter's birthday coming up April 1st...

I just had a nice lazy L&G..

I threw 3 eggs into a skillet and stirred them around so they were kind of scrambled until they were cooked. Then I cut 3 servings of raw cauliflower off of the head I had and just washed and ate it plain..

Done and done.

I can guarantee I didn't go off plan tonight. lol!..

I tried not using my scale, but obviously I cannot control myself when it's sitting in front of me in the bathroom..

So I did actually have to go and put it into a drawer in the bedroom. I shouldn't have any trouble now. It was just too tempting seeing it staring at me when I was on the toilet every morning..

I plan to at least go until Monday now without weighing...

On the upside, I was feeling very thin today. I love that feeling..

Crazy how you can feel thin or fat at no matter what size you are..

I remember being at 125 about 7 or so years ago and I had "fat" days all the time...

I have to go to a BOOOOORRRRING meeting tonight. I'm the secretary of our HOA..

It drives me crazy because the President never hold the meeting before 7pm because he works crazy hours. I'm usually in bed by 8pm, so I hate being out of the house any time after 7pm..

Peeps messing with my sleep is one of my worst pet peeves. My son is lucky I love him so dayum much or he would have been out of here a long time ago..

Grrrrr..

Whatever happened to the girl who started this club? Wasn't her name Emily?.

I hate it when peeps stop coming to the boards because that almost always means they weren't able to stick with the plan and that makes me really, really sad for them...

I wonder how many other random thoughts I can get out of my head. lol!.

Hmmm, I think that may be it...

ROFL Chickie. You crack me up..

Yeah, I'm afraid Em may have fallen off of the Medifast wagon again. I hope not, because I was hoping that this would be the time for her...

Evening everyone. Great day....54 degrees so I had a good run outside. Is spring around the corner? I can only hope..

I am not leaving this room....well except for the crew room. I can't for the life of me figure out why someone would pay all this money for Medifast and then not follow the plan. Do people really have money to throw away? Well if so, please throw it my way! I'm sure I could put it to use..

Chickie.....I remember when I first started MF....almost 2 years ago....wow was it that long ago that I weighed 246 pounds....someone told me they locked their scale in the trunk of the car to prevent stepping on it every 5 or 10 minutes or so. I remember thinking how could I ever lock my scale away. Trust me....going scaleless and trusting the Medifast eating plan was the best thing I ever did. Now I know what my eating plan can do.....help me maintain my size 4/6 body!.

No chopped tofu!..

Sleep well TLers..

I am taking all my PM meds now..

When DH returns from his meeting, he'll hear me snoring..

I hope to start packing for next weeks visit to be hands-on Grandparents of a toddler..

The kids get to ski as much as they possibly can. We kick them out..

Grandma/Beth..

Chickie, I hope you kept some of those random thoughts for your meeting! LOL! I'm in the process of getting an offering plan and deed put together for a new townhouse development my boss is building in the Adirondacks. I'm sure that once the HOA is active, it's a lot more fun..

God, I hate when I'm typing and my husband bursts into a fit of laughter at something on TV and says, "Did you see that?" Uhhhh. No. I was typing. Hear that? That's me typing..

I am Mrs. Crankypants today...

Hi everyone!.

The dress fits! The dress fits! I don't look like a sleeping bag! My son asked me why I had "made the picture so skinny". I love him..

Yay!.

Hope everyone is having a fabulous day... will catch up on posts...

Okay I have to admit due to financial reasons I ran out of food yesterday. I had to use my atkins supplies for today. My order came after I left for work..

No cheeze for me!..

Ok, I am officially sick of working ridiculous hours this week and I'm grateful tomorrow is a short day and then I'm off until Monday! Rant over..

Going to bed. I just got home and have to get up and do it all over again in a few hours. Once again I am very glad Medifast is so easy to follow when life is sooo darn hectic. I'm doing NOTHING this weekend. NOTHING. No one better ask a favor or anything either.

Ok now I'm rambling and still complaining. Good night all!.

Tara..

Hi all!! My job is a Hoover some days..................and today was one of them. Visiting a client and nothing but sludge offered for any of the meals. PLUS.......the head guy who knows NOTHING about transportation tells me how to do my job in front of a bunch of his coworkers. Sometimes I just want to reach out and touch someone..

Drive by...........nice jewelry Penny, Connor - rocking the dress, Beth - rest well and congrats to.......oh rats - I forgot who but it's from the heart!!.

TTYL..

Thanks for the bison advice. I will try Trader Joe's.

Penny - Can't wait to see your etsy store. I see some rings in my future..

Conner - Great dress. ooo la la.

Chickie - You make me laugh. I hope you feel purged of your random thoughts..

Karen - "My job is a hoover sometimes"... cracked me up. I may use that..

I am showered and ready for bed. I know, I know, it's only 8:30. But, tomorrow is my Friday. The sooner I go to sleep, the sooner I get up and the sooner I get it over with..

I need a haircut. Just so you know...
