Question I have... One.com, iPage, Locodomain, or better? Hoping for any answer. My other question... I am receiving this error message:.

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_NEW in /www/n/needlept/htdocs/catalog/includes/boxes/thread_policy.php on line 53.

I included this line in right_column. I am trying to make an infobox visible when a file thread_list is open..

// if (basename($PHP_SELF) != FILENAME_THREAD_LIST) include(DIR_WS_BOXES'thread_policy.php');.

This is line 53 in thread_policy.php.

New infoBox($info_box_contents);..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably know..

Hi,.

Often parse errors are caused by the preceeding line, and I would guess that line 52 should be.

$info_box_contents[] = array('align' => 'center',.

'text' => 'BOX_THREAD_POLICY_TEXT');.

(note the semi-colon at the end)..

Sorry should of said the error was at the bottom of the page where the footer should be..

The above mentioned error is only seen when the following path is used.

Http://localhost/.

And no index.php after it. If I click on the catalog link then I get index without error..

This seems strange but maybe my iPage hosting server uses some sort of rediredt I don't know about..

Any comment on this as food for thought would be welcome..

Hi,.

I only use osCommerce on a domain/server, not locally as you are doing, but shouldn't it be ? .

Define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://localhost'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers.
