I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could answer your iPage question..

What kind of form did you make?.

In order to send information or email information you need to use PHP,Perl,Coldfusion or ASP...

If you stay on geocities then you can't do what you want to do. geocities will not let you use any serverside code and that is what you need to parse that form...

Thats like the only downside of geocities, is it not taking serverside code...

Haven't tried it myself, but I can't see why it wouldn't work..

Edit:.

Just tested - works like a dream!..

Do I include the ' around the link?.

And another question, how do I set a defualt text into form textboxes. IE the number 0 already appears in a text box...

Yes, but still doesn't fix the fact that not all users have a default email program. so they click that button it will show the page and you didn't send anything in email...

Scoutt is right, but I wouldn't worry about it. Most people do have an e-mail client...

I see these kinds of form all over the net, even on pro sites, have used them myself, too, and have never had any complains....

I stopped using them only because I didn't want my e-mail addy there in the code for spambots to pick up.....

Well that is old technology and shouldn't be used, but if you say pro sites are doing it then they aren't very pro are they ??.

But I can count at least 10 people in my building that don't have a default email, also it doesn't work so well on netscape. also you have to think of the people that use linux...
