My 1st question is: Should I open up my donut shop next to Nutrisystem? Thanks for any answer. Another question... Good Morning Men!.

Please excuse me while I brag a little. I am very happy to report that today, September 22, 2009 will forever be known for me as goal day. I was stunned into disbelief when I stepped on the scale this morning and it said.



For the last several weeks I have really been working the plan hard. As soon as I got below 240 it seemed like 225 was just around the corner and it really focused me. I was so worried that the last bit was going to be tough, but with the additional discipline and focus it was pretty easy. In fact, I've already set a new goal, to get to 215, then re-evaluate from there..

For those of you who are data driven, I averaged 3.8 pounds per week, or .55 pounds per day. Those averages were distorted prettily heavily by the huge losses in the beginning, (an 11 pound week, and several 6 or 7 pound weeks), but I am extremely pleased with the rate. If you're interested I'm attaching a graph from a spreadsheet that I keep to track all this..

Hopefully everyone gets and/or keeps motivation from reading these stories. I know that when I started my goals seemed impossible, but reading about others' success kept me going, even if I was a little jealous. I sure never thought I'd be living one of the success stories! It feels great, thank you Nutrisystem and thank you to all my friends who have helped me so far! Please let me know how ever I can help you work your plan, answer any diet or exercise questions, or just support you in your quest. All the hard work and discipline are definitely worth it..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you help..

2. Some NSVs? I find them very motivational for me and hope they help you brag a little too. Differences in appearance, confidence, agility, energy?.

4. The mononotic decrease is noteworthy..

5. Your loss rate was awesome. I think big guys have a larger calorie deficit. Also, it does seem that there was some curvature in your graph, which would go along with the idea that you are in less calorie deficit when lighter (not carrying a 100 pound rucksack)...

Awesome Bill!!!! Good luck with transitioning to maintenance. It's not easy, but it's well worth it. Be careful not to let old habits come back, they try really hard!..

Hey Notso HugeBearl!! FanTasTic! You ROCKED the program! Incredible loss. 100 lbs. and GOAL all at the same time. Welcome to the Endzone!.

A word of caution. I took my loss to 9 under goal, then "rewarded" myself with a month or so of re-visiting all my old habits. It was fun, but not a real good idea. Since than, I've been just maintaining at my goal weight by the skin of my teeth and having more issues sticking on-program than I had the entire 8 months of my active loss phase. Listen to Dick and Steve. This is the tough time that seperates the men from the boys..

Enjoy your victory, celebrate it, but stay connected and on-track..

You've proven you can follow The Plan, so time to think about your Plan for life. There is no finish line to this race..

Way to go Bill! I did the Re-evaluation also. You never think you will make it to goal, but when you do, it is great. I looked at my body and said, I still have 10 more on me that I want to lose. No pressure now, but it "will" go away!..
