My question is Sites iPage hosting reviews of porn movies? Many thanks for any comment. Another question I got... Hi,.

I've got an OSC install that is having significant problems. I've tried searching the forums for specific solutions to no avail, so I'm hoping someone could suggest solutions to resolve these error messages I keep getting:.

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/tailor/public_html/shop/admin/file_manager.php on line 188.

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/tailor/public_html/shop/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file..

Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in /home/tailor/public_html/shop/admin/modules.php on line 39.

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/tailor/public_html/shop/admin/modules.php:39) in /home/tailor/public_html/shop/admin/includes/functions/general.php on line 18.

I have installed this before without all of these errors, so I am really lost - any help would be great..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an decent answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could answer your iPage question..

Thanks, John. I tried changing the permissions to 777 initially and still got the same error message. The only time I can get the error message to leave is when I cmod it to 555..

Yes, our iPage hosting company provides auto installation of the script via Fantastico. I have used it before without any errors, but this time I am having all of these issues..

I would wipe the original installation except the client has already loaded in 40+ product descriptions and I don't want to lose them. I guess I'll keep digging in the wiki/knowledge base and pinpoint the specific files I'm lacking..

Thanks again,.

Backup the data, via mysql connector or phpmyadmin, that way you dont lose the info, and start over. the permissions for the configure.php files is 644.

Search knowledge base for 'headers already sent' which usually means you have 'white space' at beginning or end of file..

No space before the first <?php and nothing after the last ?>..

You rock, John. Problems now appear to be resolved. It was white space heaven in there..

This is a temporary install for this weekend only - I will strip this out on Tuesday and personally replace it, but thanks for the tip on how to back up the information - saves the client some time..

Thanks thanks thanks!.

I have a customer who wanted a store, so while I was putting the 'real store' together, I gave her the stock version while I modified the stock for more high end, she was able to add product, and when I had the sql end done on the final was able to load it and then switch her over to the new one in about 45 minutes...

That is reassuring and I will keep that in mind. Normally I install all my own scripts but I was hurrying...*sigh*.

Now if I can just figure out the payment gateways, she'll be in sci-fi heaven...lol.

This is really a beautiful package - otherwise we couldn't have helped her at all..

Thanks,.

In reading the last sentence it tells you what file needs to have the permissions set,. it needs to be 777. the wiki documentation and knowledge base will answer just about all the questions you have..

It also seems that not all the files got uploaded. where did you get it from? your host? better off to download from here and install...
