Got a question... This page is parked free, courtesy of iPage.com? Thanks for any answer or 2. Another quick question... Lets say I have around 20 websites, I am allowed to place a small header beneath each page....

The problem is whenever I want to change the header I have to change every single one...

I thought of making one file and then based on which iPage website it's called from to show something...

This is where I got stuck. How do I know which iPage website it's calling from..

I tried to use the SERVER_NAME , but that gives me the url of the iPage website the footer is in, not the iPage website it's getting called from...

I was thinking of doing HTTP_REFER, but that does not seem to work.. neither the S_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']..

How can I slove this problem...

Peace,..

Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I bump into an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you an answer..

Are you using the same header for each iPage site ?

Try saving the value at the top of the script some PHP functions may change it..

$referer =$_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'];.

If you have older PHP version then use these..

$referer =$HTTP_REFERER;.

Or.

$referer = $HTTP_SERVER_VARS['HTTP_REFERER'];..

Unfortunatly not.. each page uses a different style of footer (to match with the site)....

Nope that does not work....

Actually it does work... but it gives the location of the footer file, so I am not able to know where the script (footer) is getting caled from...

I have something in my mind that I will try out in a minute, hope it works...

Peace,.

Thnx for asnwering guys..
