Got a question... Transfering files from one iPage web host to Another iPage web host Directly (ie without downloading Looking forward for any answer. Second question.. Argh, I've fought with this for a couple of days now, so I'm breaking down and posting.. Stubborn ain't I?.

Ok, here's the deal.. I've got several straight HTML product pages that live outside OSCommerce. On each page is one or more versions of a product and I'm trying to allow a customer to simply click on a link/button (and maybe even indicate a quantity) and have that item/qty appear in their cart. Pretty straight forward stuff really..

After doing some digging (in the forums) I found a message that while it doesn't directly address my issue, seemed like a good place to start. From that message I created a link that looked like it might work:.

Catalog/shopping_cart.php?action=buy_now?products_id=28?id=?cart_quantity=1.

But, instead of adding the item to the cart, the cart shows up empty. Bogus! Any of you OSCommerce gurus have a quick solution?..

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to that question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could answer your iPage question..

I have the exact same problem, except I am using the sts template system and want to add to cart from my category page rather than go to the product info page. THIS HAS SOLVED MY PROBLEM, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I have actually been struggling with this for a while and have been close, but this has provided the missing link, and that is my Final Answer!!!..

Using that took me to the product_info.php page. It did not add the product to the cart.

Any suggestions?..

Double check your link, you should be linking to the shopping_cart.php file, not product_info.php file. Otherwise I am not sure what is causing the problem. This seems to work good for me. Let me know, thanks...

I have a button in a flash swf that when I click it it takes me to product_info.php. The link is correct by linking to shopping_cart.php..
