Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you help..
Shoot.... I got it to work but i've done so much in the past 72 hours I can't remember the exact problem. It was definitely an apache or php installation issue. If I remember I'll let you know..
Thanks for your reply..
I'll check apache module and php config but.
I really hope you remember...
Still can't find by myself....
Do anyone fixed about this problem?..
I switched servers again and the same problem is back.... i'm not sure i'm going to try and tackle software reinstalls again right now..
Did you happen to find the problem?..
No, I still can't find problem about this issue. I think many people having this problem who using apache2 but there is no answer for it.......
I have a problem that I imagine is simple.... I essentially took an exact copy of our OSC iPage site and moved it to a different server and different domain. I also moved the database over to that server. After changing config files, everything works except the search engine friendly URL links don't work... I'm getting 404 errors..
I'm sure it's trying to go to the actual directory (/index.php/cPath/21) instead of pulling out the variables and reconstructing the URL..
Has anyone had an experience like this? My first guess is that it's an apache setting because that's all that's changed from server to server......
Thanks a lot,.
I'm getting same problem with apache2.
When I was using apache1.3.7, it was working fine but I switched to.
New server which has apache2(redhat), then it wont work anymore..
I had to turn off search engine friendly URL....
I need help too..
