Website with Dreamweaver transfer to iPage?

Got a question... Website with Dreamweaver transfer to iPage? Many thanks for any answer. My 2nd question... Does anyone know how to exactly add a manual customer to the OSC2.2 ms2 database??.

The reason I want to do this is because I have tried and failed at upgrading a 2.1 database to a 2.2 database so I want to transfer the data over manually but I am not quite sure of the changes in the different versions and where to put all the data.

If this works it and I am able to streamline the process it could be the answer that so many toher people have been looking for..

Thanks..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could answer your iPage question..

Yes I can download the whole database and modify it, I am just unsure of exactly what to copy over because of the fact that the new database has different features in it so I don't want to spend hours typing up 100's of lines of customers to relise that I made a mistake :-)..

Look in the 2.2MS2 Zip folder there is a folder name extra and inside that folder there is another folder name sql dif or something like that.

Ok I am rather annoyed now, I have just relised that for the last year I have been using a version of 2.2 CVS and not 2.1 grrrr this would explain why I have had so many troubles upgrading to 2.2MS2 :-(..

Can you download the database tables, or ask your host to send them to you, to update them manually then reload them?..
