I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can help you..
This did not work for me. The images are still all messed up...
You got a link to your iPage site Alex?..
Hey Alex - send a link to see what your talking about....
It worked for the store I am running....
A Plus Pet Goods.
If you check out the products I have you will see how the landscaped images and the portrait images are not smuged or pushed togetehr..
The only down size is that some of my images (cat nip spray) bottle is really tall - so the page it displays on it shows right but it appears a bit larger then most of my images....
Trust me when I say - I am totally ok with that.. LOL.
Anyhow... send us a link so we can check it out for you!!!..
I just added a single product to root category for you guys to see..
Small image width is set to 90. height is set to "blank"..
Calculate image size and image required is set to "True"..
I am running the latest OSC 2.2 M2...
Hmmmmm...I am having a similar problem. But I set them both to blank and it works just fine....the other way distorts the image size and quality. The only problem I am having is when I got to "click to enlarge" the image doesn't show. I have set the correct path to where the large images are stored...but nothing shows up.
Any ideas? It's located at:.
I just can't understand what is going on with it...
Ok... I have a store running and for the most part it's been pretty easy to make changes as needed. But one small thing that is bugging me is the default image size when a product is displayed. Since I use numerous image dimensions some portrait and others landscape I cant use to a generic diplay option....
Here is what I am talking about....
You can see that the image appears scrunched up... if you click on the enlarge image button you will see it's a tall bottle....
Does anyone know how to adjust this?.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!.
Best regards ~ WillZilla..
OK.. I dug a little bit into the forum and discovered the answer to my delima!.
Just comment out either height or width. OSC should resize with porportions. Meaning take out your height/null it out. Then look on your iPage site and see what I mean. Just play with it. If you prefer to set a standard height then null out width..
I simply went into my admin section and and under the configuration section I chose 'images' then I simply edited the 'small image height' field. I left it blank. Now all my images remain at the same width but are proportionedproperly landscape / portrait based on their original size..
