Quick question... What are some easy Web site building/iPage hosting services for a simple matter (a moving sale)? Thanks for any answer or 2. Another question I got... I know it's a.

Very.

Simple question, but I am not very good with PHP. I'm able to edit it usually, but I am having troubles centering the image in header.php.

   <td valign="middle"><?php echo '<a href="'tep_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT)'">'tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES'oscommerce.gif', 'osCommerce')'</a>'; ?></td>.

Where should I place the <center> tags? Is that what I should actually use! Thanks so much!..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably know..

Oddly enough, I didn't..

Could it be the image? Could code somewhere else be affecting it?..

Had a quick look at your source and it looked like this....

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">.

<tr class="header">.

<td valign="middle"><a href="http://www.unsigned-online.com/shop/catalog/index.php?osCsid=c3aebe12ba7bd5233ae159e8d3cf65d2"><img src="images/oscommerce.gif" border="0" alt="osCommerce" title=" osCommerce " width="750" height="100"></a></td>.

<td align="right" valign="bottom">.

</tr>.

</table>.

When it should look like this....

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">.

<tr class="header">.

<td align="center" valign="middle"><a href="http://www.unsigned-online.com/shop/catalog/index.php"><img src="images/oscommerce.gif" border="0" alt="Unsigned Online" title="Unsigned Online" width="750" height="100"></a></td>.

</tr>.

</table>.

(I've done a little extra tidying up too).

Thanks..

It still doesn't appear to be centering itself. I'm at a complete loss here.......

Looked at your code again....

You're not using align="center" for the td. Two people have told you this now. That's why it isn't working..

What are you using to edit the html???..

I copy and pasted the code sosidge provided, so I'm sure that I'm using "center.".

I use.

HAPedit.

To edit the code..

Here's the code I have right now:.

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">.

<tr class="header">.

  <td align="center" valign="middle"><a href="http://www.unsigned-online.com/shop/catalog/index.php"><img src="images/oscommerce.gif" border="0" alt="Unsigned Online" title="Unsigned Online" width="750" height="100"></a></td>.

</tr>.

</table>.

Are you sure your edits are actually being ftp'ed to your site. I just looked at the source, and I have to agree with the rest, the align="center" is not there. See below:.

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">.

<tr class="header">.

<td valign="middle"><a href="http://www.unsigned-online.com/shop/catalog/index.php?osCsid=538128c6df0c84757ad36d45cb5bd3db"><img src="images/oscommerce.gif" border="0" alt="osCommerce" title=" osCommerce " width="590" height="117"></a></td>.

<td align="right" valign="bottom">.

</tr>.

</table>..

When I download the php file from the webserver, it shows it as being updated. That's incredibly odd that the iPage site and source are showing it as different.. I too see no difference when I look at the source..

Am I editing the correct file? ./catalog/includes/header.php..

Check to make sure you are uploading it to both the secure and nonsecure site. My webhost does that too..

One says httpdocs and the other says httpsdocs...

Thanks. I don't have the shop uploaded to the httpsdocs folder, only the httpdocs one. Should I have it in both?..

I figured it out. I installed a skinning/template contribution called "Basic Template System" and didn't realize that I had to change the code in another place as well as header.php..

Thank you very much for all your help!..
