That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..

Made it through my b-day without going off plan. Woo-Hoo!!!! Kids are with their Dad this weekend so I won't have to stress to much about meals. Hope everyone has a great day..

Glad you got through your b-day unscathed. I'm having a mini-fit lately because of a plateau. I am going to chug water today though and hopefully that will help...

Keep up the water and .......just keep swimming. I'm trying to move away from obsessing about the scale too much and looking at the bigger picture: how I feel, staying OP and being patient. Have a great weekend..

Howdy gang... i've been busy with my students all day... havent really had an opportunity to be in here... plus I have nosy kids (high schoolers... whaddya expect!) and they perk up when they see anything rainbowish... not that it's any of their business or anything...

Congrats on the birthday victory! I'm kinda taking a break right now... there are lots of reasons i'm using to rationalize with, but the fact is i'm just tired after a year of MF... My goal is to maintain where I'm at until after my ankle surgery... then I'll jump back on the Medifast horse!..

Morning everybody and happy weekend! My kids are at their Dad's til tomorrow and the house is a bit quiet. I still miss them even tho they're only gone 2 days but Gina and I also relish the alone time. The last weekend we had alone I hadn't started MF. We were away at a B+B in P'town making some plans for the wedding. Cape Cod off season is beautiful and quiet. Starting memorial Day weekend it's tourist central and P'town explodes with gay pride.

It's pretty awesome and I know I take it for granted that it's a hop, skip and jump for us. It also has fabulous restaurants and that last weekend I ate like it was my last meal on death row. So, this weekend, I'm staying as close to on plan as I can. Just one obstacle tonight when my dear friends have a little birthday dinner planned for me. I'm not really a drinker so that's no biggie.

I'm planning on that being my only off plan cheat. Gotta do this thing! And tomorrow's weigh-in. There's the incentive.

I identify as bisexual, and I am married to a man with whom I have two children. So I'm joining!.

I'm really bad about posting the banners, so I apologize for that. I started out around 225 (based on a scale which we then realized was weighing low) on 4/6 and I'm at 203 (on a scale that actually seems to weigh accuratly). I'm a Unitarian-Universalist, and I work at a UU Fellowship...uh...My goal weight is about 159 but my diet coach said that was too low (and since I have weighed that since I was in 11th grade...) I live in Reno NV...

Hey Jayson, I also qualify for this board.... what does homoflexible mean, and how different from bisexual?.

I've been on the plan since april of 2010 and have lost about 121 lbs.....

It's kinda my case it means I'm only attracted to guys physically, but fell in love emotionally with a girl once and gave it a try. If it had worked out it would've been a companionate relationship. Unfortunately it was long distance and she wasn't really okay with my depression and anxiety, so it fell apart..

You lost 121 lbs in 9 months? That's amazing! Damn, I hope I have results like that! Any tips?..

Since this is kind of a social thread more than anything....

I think my grandfather gave me a cold. There's the sore throat and dizziness, plus stiff muscles and cold sweats and nightmares all last night. I'm in a beautiful place right now. :sarcastic:..

Uggg Jayson, at least you can have chicken noodle soup (MF) and stay on plan, i'd add a can of chicken broth to it, and some fresh garlic and ginger and white pepper and make most of my meals of the day that.... till I felt better..

As for how i've lost my weight... mainly just sticking to the plan, working with my health coach, and sticking to the plan lol.....

My roommate and now my g/f (2 diff people) but my g/f now has moved in, so there are 3 of us living here.... we're all on the plan, so it makes food easier, we only buy program food, we only prepare and eat program food....

Had my roommate's brother over for Christmas Eve/Day and had to scramble to figure out what to feed him, he likes the Medifast bars and pretzels but they are not great for him to eat. he came again for new years eve/day and I did better, got some individual servings of mac and cheese and mashed taters at a local restaurant, and for breakfast got him some individual wrapped breakfast pastries.... he's also living with AIDS so he can't afford to lose weight......
