The strange thing is if I remove the code from line 24 then I get an error on line 29 and then if I remove that I get another error......

I had read the full post and ok my reply was not specifically correct in that I posted.
When I should have posted.
But my actual reference was to the single quote being used which should have been a double quote and it is to this that is causing the parse error..

We are running default OSCommerce install with IIS, no mods except:.
The script does add the item to the cart, which seems weird... Any ideas?..
You need to post lines 20 through to 30 of catalog/shopping_cart.php so that we can see the issue with your codes..
It may just be a missing ;..
