Quick question: What are some good domain/iPage web hosting companies? Looking forward for any response. My other question... Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in c:\Domains\academicmarketing.co.za\wwwroot\catalog\shopping_cart.php on line 25.

Hi Guys.

>>.

Http://academicmarke...opping_cart.php.

We are running default OSCommerce install with IIS, no mods except:.

Http://forums.oscommerce.com/index.php?sho...=0&#entry442919.

The script does add the item to the cart, which seems weird... Any ideas?..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you help..

Hi Steve.

Thanks for your reply.

Here is the first 40 lines of code in the shopping_cart.php file:.

<?php.

/*.

$Id: shopping_cart.php,v 1.73 2003/06/09 23:03:56 hpdl Exp $.

OsCommerce, Open Source E-Commerce Solutions.

*/.

Require('./includes/application_top.php");.

Require(DIR_WS_LANGUAGES$language'/'FILENAME_SHOPPING_CART);.

$breadcrumb->add(NAVBAR_TITLE, tep_href_link(FILENAME_SHOPPING_CART));.

?>.

<!doctype html public "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">.

<html <?php echo HTML_PARAMS; ?>>.

<head>.

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=<?php echo CHARSET; ?>">.

<title><?php echo TITLE; ?></title>.

<base href="<?php echo (($request_type == 'SSL') ? HTTPS_SERVER : HTTP_SERVER)DIR_WS_CATALOG; ?>">.

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css">.

</head>.

<body marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" topmargin="0" bottommargin="0" leftmargin="0" rightmargin="0">.

<! header //>.

<?php require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES'header.php'); ?>.

<! header_eof //>.

<! body //>.

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="3" cellpadding="3">.

<tr>.

<td width="<?php echo BOX_WIDTH; ?>" valign="top"><table border="0" width="<?php echo BOX_WIDTH; ?>" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2">.

<! left_navigation //>.

<?php require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES'column_left.php'); ?>.

<! left_navigation_eof //>.

</table></td>.

The strange thing is if I remove the code from line 24 then I get an error on line 29 and then if I remove that I get another error......

Steve I am well aware of that, look at the following topic (I can see by your 4500 odd that you reply to a lot of posts on the forum but please read the full post before replying):.

Http://forums.oscommerce.com/index.php?sho...=0&#entry442919.

I would really appreciate it if you could shed some light on the above post as well...

I had read the full post and ok my reply was not specifically correct in that I posted.

Require("includes/application_top.php");.

When I should have posted.

Require("./includes/application_top.php");.

But my actual reference was to the single quote being used which should have been a double quote and it is to this that is causing the parse error..

Here it is highlighted.

The red single quote should be.

".

You need to post lines 20 through to 30 of catalog/shopping_cart.php so that we can see the issue with your codes..

It may just be a missing ;..
