I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I got an decent answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could assist you..
I gave all mine away on Freecycle. There are so many people who need clothes and can't afford to buy them, I got a TON of responses from people wanting them. I gave away like 8 big garbage bags of clothes..
My family (have 2 nieces, sister) who have had RNY. They passed their clothes to me and this past summer I passed all those clothes to my daughter. hopefully my daughter can give them away soon...
A friend of mine had the Sleeve 4 months after my RNY. I passed most of my clothes down to her. Another friend makes a living selling things on Craigslist, so I gave some to her as well..
Every few months I have bagged them up and taken them to Goodwill. I gave my Mom what fit her, but I'm out of those sizes now. I took pics and posted some nice stuff on Craigslist but I didn't get a single response..
Anyone willing to buy a nice pair of black suede pants in a women's 22? They are beautiful - I only wore them once...
I donated some to the Salvation Army and trying to sell some at a Consignment shop...
My center also has a clothing exchange. However when I went to it, I took an entire suitcase full of clothes, and I was very disappointed to see that most everyone else hardly brought anything. Next time I will just donate them. I have a sewing machine but I don't know how to sew! I'm hoping my sister will help me to alter some of the nicer things that I have to wear for work. I can't afford to buy new all the time!..
Everything that I could wear using suspenders under a shirt outside the pants, I kept. I have a lot of baggy shirts and pants now. I buy all my clothes at the thrift store. they have some nice things that once they go through the cleaners, they look great. But even with that, I'm getting too small for them. I still have another 90 pounds to go.
I have no relatives that were ever as large as I was!..
