I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably know..
This is something I'm looking for too. It's hard to believe that osCommerce doesn't have this basic functionality built-in, as it does have a category sort option...
Did anybody sort this problem?.
I would also like to be able to sort my products the same way as I can sort the catorgories..
Is there a contribution for this.
Yes, there is a contribution for this:.
Its awesome, but I had to do some real tweaking to get it to work for MS2, but after I did, whew, makes it all real easy. I'm gonna try to modify it for MS2 and contribute, but I don't know when I'll have time, darned day job....
With each product added, there is a nice interface to select what you want in the product and what you don't. The package comes with a screenshot if you want to see it in action..
The biggest feature with that one I like is the "copy" feature. You can copy attribs from one product to the next. For me it saves heaps of time, considering I have over 50 pages of product attribs, and my store isn't even near full....
Thanks for the help,.
I have gone a different route. I have utilitsed the Manufacturers list and used 001, 002, 003 etc and set the database to list by manufacturer..
This seems to work for me..
Hi, is there any way I can add a field within the add new product page in admin that can be used to allow the products to be listed the way I want, the same way the categories order is set..
I have tried to add the Product Listing contribution several times with no luck..
If someone could suggest a way I would be very grateful..
I forgot to mention I would like the field to be hidden..
