I have with all health care and insurance providers. It's saved me twice. Health care and insurance providers will "forget" what tests they've done, what forms your've completed for them and what pre-operative requirements you've met. You have to be your own advocate, you have to keep your own records and when the health care provider or insurer screws up (and they will) you get your own records out, shove them in their face, and tell them they better get their %$^& together..
