My question is What are some healthy Medifast recipes that will help me lose weight? Thanks for any answer or 2. Another quick question... I am exactly 1 week post-op RNY. Today I woke up not feeling well, the last 2 days I have been out and.

But today all I want to do is curl up in bed and not face the world. I'm actually on the verge of tears. I don't want to say that I'm having a pitty party for me but can't see to snap out of it today. I ate a 1/4 of cream of wheat and now everything I drink hurts. That just adds fuel to the fire. I am questioning myself as to what did I get myself into.

I haven't told my husband about the way i'm feeling, I don't want any of the I told you so's. I've even stopped.

I just don't know what to do to snap out of it..

Thanks for letting me vent. You guys are the greatest and not judgemental. Take care!..

In my pre op requirements was to get a psych evaluation. I talked with a therapist several times and my insurace paid for it (except my copay) because of depression..

Check into it and see what coverage you may have available for mental health coverage. I expect that I will also need someone to talk to during the up coming year, after all they did not remove the feelings that come along with our disease. It is a journey that is for the rest of your life...

We've all been there done that. Especially in the beginning. That feeling will eventually pass, but even at 5 months out, I occasionlly feel it. I also wanted to comment on you eating cream of wheat. Is that in your plan? It has little protein and seems like it would fill you up quickly making it hard to get in your protein for the day. On my plan I can't eat any carbs for 6 months.

If the cream of wheat is on your plan and has protein, then go for it, but it just seems like to me it might really expand in your pouch. Just saying!..

Liquid diet.

Leading up to it must change the brain's levels of serotonin and/or norepinephrine. I wish one of the experts would comment on it..

I was on Welbutrion before the operation and have gone back on it after the operation but it has not been enough. One thing for me is that I do not feel I am healing fast eough. I hate having the Gasyrostomy tube & am still runnig a low grade fever 18 days out of 2nd.
