Got a question... What are some Medifast recipes for meat phyllo pastries? Thanks in advance for any comment. My other question... I am very excited to find out that I'm pregnant, but I know that it hasn't been in the right time frame. This is my fiances first baby and he is so excited. I am also a little scared.

I still have 50 lbs to get to my goal weight. I'm only 5 weeks along.

I have an appt to see my dr on Friday to make sure that I am healthy and doing the right things..

Just wanted to let you all know because I will need as much support as I can get through this pregnancy...

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could give you help..

Congratulations! Babies are great news :) Remember, follow the doctor's orders, listen to your body and on the days where you aren't feeling so tired go for a walk. You can walk during your whole pregnancy... just go at your pace..

When I was really in pain my pregnant friend would walk with me (she was about to pop and didn't want to walk alone) and she would crack me up because she always had ziploc baggies with her... One day I asked her, whassup with all the baggies? I guess she used to walk and sometimes it would bring on some nausea and well, she's one of those who are always prepared! lol.

Wishing you a great pregnancy!.

Congratulations!.

CONGRATULATIONS! Don't let fear steal your joy! Just be sure to follow all of the nutritional guidelines to ensure that you and baby have everything that you NEED to be healthy. As long as you are eating healthy and staying active, any weight gain will be normal. I will also say that both times I was preggers, I lost weight because of the increased metabolism. You might find that you need to gain...

Babies are such a blessing from God and He will carry you through this as well as with your weightloss journey...just keep eating right and keep up on your vitamins and the rest will definitely fall into place.....

Congrats! And if we all waited for "the right time" to have a baby. There would be very few babies born! Somehow it always works out in the end..

Good Luck and keep us updated!.

Congratulations on your wonderful news. I have a friend who just had a baby 2 months ago and she had the GBP and she did wonderful with her pregnancy. She had to do some little extra tests (such as sugar tests, etc.) but she said the best part was the prenatal vitamins because they helped with her hair & nails come in thicker (because of the hair loss with GBP) She didn't gain all her weight back and she is losing it just as quickly and healthy. Good Luck on your journey and God Bless You, Your Fiancee and Your New Baby!!!..

Congrats. Enjoy this experience to the fullest. Every expectant mommy experiences that scared feeling - whether it's the first one or many babies down the line.

There have been others before you who the stork has visited since their.

Surgery.

I know of a few - one just two months out..

They all kept in close contact with both the baby dr and GBP /lap band dr. And shared even the "this is too silly to ask/question" with both for not all baby drs know much about GBP/lap band. One girl I know was lucky enough for her baby dr was a GBP recipient herself. And definitely listen to your nutrition specialist too..

Keep us posted. Have you decided on names yet? It took my son and daughter-in-law had their names picked 2 days after doing the home preg test. Our bundle of joy is due in March...

Congrats on the baby! I was.

Talking.

To my nurse a few weeks ago and 2 ladys in my program got pregnant 3 months out and everything went smooth. You will be just fine!..

Congrats, I am so happy for you and your family. I work with a nurse that is about 2 months pregnant and she just had to have most of her fluid taken out of her band so that she could maintain a healthy diet, I don't know what procedure you have had but I am sure you will do just fine. May God bless you and your family during this exciting time...
