Being a self diagnosed OCD kinda guy and knowing how psyco I get with competition I've learned how to get by in my new thin life without a scale. It's just seemed silly to me because I never weighed myself when I was a fat slob. I'll bet I honestly haven't beeen on a scale 15 times since I was sliced to pieces. But the thought of obsesively.

Running.

To the scale everytime I eat something or worse yet everytime I think I should be down just seems like insanity without the blow..

No I don't think of them as friendly or otherwise, just a tool that tells me exactly what my belt tells me. That my waist is perfect!.

But congrats on your success but more importantly your self confidence. You must feel proud!.

Luving you.

I undrstand completely how you feel!.

I used to dread going to the dr, because I always had to get on that dang scale! Now I don't mind hoping on it! I don't even mind telling people what I weigh. It was always a goal of mine to weigh in lbs what I used to weigh in kg. I am there!.

I have a scale at home. In the beginning I weighed myself EVERY day. Now, I am down to maybe 2 times a week. And I just odn't think about it as much as I used to!.

Be one with the scale....

Ha ha ha ha...Steve...that made me laugh.....ha ha ha ha....

By the way...one the scale issue...Mine will actually quit working if I am on it to often...nothing wrong with the scale, it works just fine for others in the house...I honestly think it is either a scale conspiracy, or the scales way of protecting me from insanity....

I try to make Friday my weigh in day, but I admit sometimes of Tuesday I will cheat and look...

Tuesdays are my doctor day now, so I get the official count on Tuesday now as well...My one month post-op appointment is this coming Tuesday...Lord I.

Hope.

It says the right thing...

My happiest fact about the scale is that our home scale is calibrated with the surgeon's. I never worry about a weigh-in there. Everyone in our PCP's office knows their scales are totally out of whack (5 to 7 pounds heavy). However, when you only see the PCP occasionally the scale still shows progress. That is sure to elicit praise from any PCP...
