Getting out of my wheelchair and being able to drive again. I want to be able to walk more than 10 feet without a great deal of pain and I want to have less pain overall. Also weightloss, health (getting rid of diabetes and.

Sleep.

Apnea), and getting on with my life. I am in college and want to be able to go back to work in the next few years...

Lol! Like herding cats.... The lost point was not nearly that intensive..

We all have lofty meta-reasons, but in achieveing these we pretty much, if we are honest with ourselves, have a focus on how to get there..

It was my poorly executed attempt to hypothesize, that we really tend to focus on losing weight and body image, rather than the equally important.

Exercise.

And personal development components..

I still notice lots more posts about weight and sizes than I do NSV and medical progress, althought those are the best reasons to be doing so!..

I figured by the time I posted that the point of choosing a number was lost so I just followed suit. I guess I am a follower not a leader, lol...

Bug, that is such a brave post, one of the most insightful I have seen on any board. Go along to get along is why many of us are where we are..

Being rebellious and confrontational, on the other end of the spectrum, I respect how difficult is is to change your response to peer pressure. {:>}..

I want to be smokin hot...primary focus! I'm pretty healthy now( except for being overweight lol)and I want to maintain my health as I get older. But my main focus is totally cosmetic...how shallow..

Thank God, an honest woman among us....lol...you are so beautiful! You deserve to be proud and excited about the bod to go with it!.

Of course you want health and wellness, and all the other honorable motivators, but oh that bikini!..

I want to.

Lose weight.

So I can be a Leader not a Follower!..
