Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..
I swear by this gadget.
And still use it daily. Great for whizzing dips, egg salad, crab salad, tuna salad... tuna, a dollop of Greek yogurt, tiny dollop of mayo, seasonings. Pesto sauce is great in tuna too... tuna and pesto...
Congratulations on your weight loss... I use canned tuna in salads and make tuna salad mix for crackers and just to eat..I add onion, small amount of mayo, dab of mustard and dill pickles...gives it flavor and is easy going down with out the bread!..
Thanks Guys!!!!!!! :).
@Shelly, I swear to god I almost bought that thing. But last time I made a kitchen purchase under 15bucks It almost killed me while mixing lmao!!! I will so have to grab it now tho, Thx!..
I am on blended foods right now. I havent tried the tuna or much meats besides beef b/c the thought of pureeing foods just doesnt sit well. Ive blended broccoli and have made cheddar/broccoli soup, canned hash (low sodium) was my best friend, black bean soup, cottage cheese, applesauce, split pea soup w/ turkey bacon, turkey chili, refriends beans w/ a dollop of greek yogurt and lowfat cheese have all been my friends....lol.
It gets easier..
My sense of smell has also heightened. There were certain things I loved prior to GBS like tomato sauce and now forget it it turns my stomach inside out..
I havent come to the "I dont care phase" b/c it honestly doesnt bother me. I ended my relationship with Medifast food and started having a relationship w/ myself (that sounds kinky...lol but true)..
Congrats on your weight loss so far and wish you much success..
You and I are to too far out. I am only 3 weeks out..
I thought tuna already was more or less pureed! I just mixed it up with a little fat free mayo... went down fine. During the puree stage I also found frozen meatballs that I cooked and pureed and mixed with the refried beans just to get the taste of meat. However, I mostly lived on scrambled eggs with cheese and cottage cheese...
Ooooooo Meatballs! homemade? Or is there a certian frozen brand we can buy?..
I just ate frozen italian meatballs from costco - careful if you nuke them, they cook fast. But you canbreak them up easily, there are no large chunks of meat (or anything else. I think they taste good. If you thaw tyhem they broke up fine in my magic bullet - but thank heavens that pureed stage is just a bad memory now..
I just mix up my tuna with a little low fat mayo and either eat it that way or on a couple of townhouse crackers. I eat boiled eggs and cooked shrimp with cocktail sauce, turkey chili and turkey meatballs. I am five months out from my.
