Question I have... What are some Medifast recipes where you can use Dairy-Free Ice Cream? Thanks for any answer or 2. Second question.. Am I the only one who wants to respect others, but simply can't express certain thoughts and feelings with G-rated vocabulary?.

How bout a "CL rating" (Colorful Language) similar to "Not Satisfactory for Work" or (NSFW) to alert members of free expression, which some might find offensive?.

I mean WTF?!? lol.

P.S. No! NOT "Sexually Explicit," Lu! lol..

You are certainly not the only one! I catch myself all too often, but still probably not enough. Sorry if I offend anyone, but sometimes there is just no other way to get the point across. Thankfully for all of you here, I am able sensor my.

Writing.

A bit better then mouth lol..

Hey man I'm a retired infantry 1st sergeant, I agree with you. Unfortunately we would probably be kicked off the site and banned for ever! I spent 16 years as a 7th grade4 math teacher after my service time, and I can't tell you how much trouble I got into the first couple of years!..

Oddly, when I started teaching, the "colorful" language left me completely. I rarely curse in speech....

Writing.

Is a little different. There are some intense feelings that you would like to express without editing, but I wouldn't want to offend the sensibilities of others.....

We're all adults - read/post at will. If someone is offended by my choosing to use a four letter word to express myself they can stop.

Reading.

The beauty of an unmonitered site is that it gives everyone the opportunity to say what they want to say in whichever manner they choose. Don't censor the language - sometimes it's the funniest thing I get to see all day and I enjoy the laugh. And when people are pissed they deserve to say it in the way they feel is best without having to label their post for the potentially offended reader..

Now - if you curse AT me - I will feel differently about defending your right to say whatever you like. Just sayin'...

I grew up a navy brat, here are sailors out there who have nothing on me! I am not easily offended, and not having to censor myself would sometimes be really nice. Sometimes you just cant express yourself adequately without a good f-bomb...

Less...thank you for bring this up...I try to be as gentle as I can be, but sometimes it is not what is.

Running.

Through my head...I also rarely curse in my spoken language, but sometimes when I write...that is my fortress of solitude..even when I am sharing it with you guys...sometimes I just got something to say and that four letter word is the only way to "see" my emotional state..

I second the CL rating...works fine for me...

If I have offended anyone, my sincere apologies, certainly not my intention....

I also subscribe to the if you're not interested in the tone of the conversation, stop.

Reading.

... We're all adults here..

Besides, I'm from Boston and yeah I may have fantastic pedigree and noteworthy degrees from famous institutions but, I'm a Masshole. My intention is NOT to offend however, we use the occaisional f-bomb as a verb, adjective, noun, you name it ;).

Additionally, I don't think I've ever seen anyone completely spell out an offensive word... so what's the dealio?.

Colleen...only because I go back and edit my posts...lol.

Many times I have said oh shit...look at that....

And have to change something...I usually save the F word for my beloved ex-husband...something about him brings out the hellcat in me....

GGGRRRowl......

Ha ha ha ha..

Actually, I just read your post again and honestly... "Am I the only one who wants to respect others, but simply can't express certain thoughts and feelings with G-rated vocabulary? ".

You're passive aggresive tone is extremely offensive to me! Who do think you are? You are not the DS police...This community is a relection of a multiplicity of voices not yours. First you have an issue with Eggface who is nothing more than polite, helpful, supportive and states clearly on her site not to reproduce, etc.. the information she willingly shares. Information and insight that I find to be priceless!.

Now this? REALLY...???.

Give me a break. I have had NOTHING but issues and cannot eat for going over now five months... If I feel it's the only way to express myself due to my pain and frustration, so be it. Consider it a written hypoglycemic snap...!.

Why don't you make yourself a protein shake and take care of your own back yard!.

Regards,.

Colleen..

Wow Colleen...now tell me what you really think girlie...ha ha ha ha.....

Deardarlink: I have no beef with you. You misread the intent of my post. It was written before the issue you refer to, which was resolved BTW..

I am sorry if I offended you, but I wasn't trying to control anything. Let's give each other the benefit of the doubt. We need real support and new members definitely need us to focus on WLS. Again sorry if I offended you...
