First of all What are some websites that allow embedding or free iPage web hosting? Many thanks for any answer or 2. Another question I got... Hi,.

I made an thumbnail gallery. When you click on a picture a new window opens. In that new window you see the big picture and 3 button: "previous","close" and "next"..

When you open the first or the last picture of the gallery you can close the new window with the "close"-button in the window and the one top-right..

When you try to do this with another (not the first or the last) picture, he closes the window, but than he displays the thumbnail in your main window, so you have to push the "back"-button to go back to the site..

Does anyone know how to solve this?.

Here is my code:.

Thanx in advance!.

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you an answer..

Ooh, forgot to change that..

They were all the same, but that was a desperate try to solve the problem.

Just trying to help fell out the problem here:.

What happens if you use this instead for the image links:.

<td align="center">.

<a href=focuseerste.htm target=_new>.

<img src="images/tnfocus_voor.gif" width="100" height="74">.

<td align="center">.

<a href=focusweede.htm target=_new>.

<img src="images/tnfocus_opzij.gif" width="100" height="74">.

<td align="center">.

<a href=focusderde.htm target=_new>.

<img src="images/tnfocus_achter.gif" width="100" height="74">.

I know this won't open the kind of window you want, but just wondering if the thumbnail still takes over the main page like this?..

If I use that code, everything works perfect..

If I could now choose the size of the new window appearing, lose the menubar, etc... I'm back in business.

Well maybe just take your code and add in <a> tags around your images. That was the thing I wanted to see about. Seemed odd to me to have just an <img> tag with an </a> at the end..

<td align="center">.

<a href=="MM_openBrWindow('focuseerste.htm','ef','scrollbars=no,resizable=no,width=550,height=435')">.

<img src="images/tnfocus_voor.gif" width="100" height="74">.

<td align="center">.

<a href="MM_openBrWindow('focustweede.htm','tf','scrollbars=no,resizable=no, width=550,height=435')">.

<img src="images/tnfocus_opzij.gif" width="100" height="51" onMouseDown>.

<td align="center">.

<a href=="MM_openBrWindow('focusderde.htm','df','scrollbars=no,resizable=no,width=550,height=435')">.

<img src="images/tnfocus_achter.gif" width="100" height="74" onMouseDown>.

Seems that if you just had the <img> tag with no <a> that your windows web server thought you might be just trying to open up that image when it was clicked on..

Thus the annoying image in the window...

Shauni: do you have a link we can see this at?..

@Putts: The code you gave me didn't work. The picture didn't load. But thanx for trying.

Don't pay attention to the ads, I'm having some storage-probs on my other address so I used geo..

So what am I looking for? I don't see anything that loads a new window..

Edit: nevermind I found it. it worked ok for me..

The storage-prob has been solved, so you can now see the iPage site at.

Mmm strange it works for you....

I click "focus"-"pics"-choose the second picture and close it with the top-right close button..

I get C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\PCORXL0P nfocus_opzij[1].gif.

Sometimes after the first time, sometimes the second time,....

Maybe it'll be better to search for another code then.....

It sounds like you need to clean out your temporary intrnet files. it works fine for me. why get new code if it works fine?..
