I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I find an anything. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could help you..
Thanks man. I'm not going to let it throw me. I just didn't want to screw up and be looking at a throwback..
I hadn't thought of getting a small steak and only eating half (or less) of it. That would probably be better than grilled catfish which is no doubt slathered in butter (I used to be head chef at a steak house, I know how catfish is prepared). Anyway, thanks for the advice. Hopefully, I can stay on plan and not disappoint my ma and pa!..
Guys have said to have them bring out the leftover tray and cut what you are going tro eat and put the rest in that...then throw that out when you leave...i'm a cheap bastard so it sounds almost unrealistic, but not impossible...if you can't avoid the situation, make the best of it...maybe someone at home will eat the leftovers (dog, wife, kids, cat, etc)..
Yeah, I don't think I could throw it out. I'll pass it off to my sister or something. Thanks again...
Order from the kids menu. If you want to do it discreetly, go up to the server or manager before your table orders, explain that you are on a special diet and politely ask them to order from the children's menu. Restaurants have age restrictions on this but most have no problem if you ask politely..
That way you get a decent sized portion and no waste, and it is cheaper to boot...
Well, I made it. I ordered a 9 oz ribeye and ate close to half of it. I made a big salad and only put "unlimiteds" on it with a little bit of FF Ranch. My choices for sides were either baked potato or french fries so got a baked spud and ate half of it plain with salt and pepper. I broke down and ate half a white roll. Also, I sent the leftovers home with my dad..
When we got home I ate 2tbsp of dried cranberries and raisins and a couple of stalks of celery just to make sure I got all my fruit and veggies in and when the family cut the birthday cake, I ate my nutrisytem carrot cake..
I wasn't perfect, but I think I did alright for my first night out. Thanks for the advice...
Get on the horse tomorrow and dont let the superbowl drag you down!..
I think I've got the SuperBowl under control. I'm not eating a Nutrisystem dinner, I made my "famous" Roasted Chicken Chili for our SuperBowl party. I've been making it for years and, as it turns out, if fits within plan - minus tons of cheese, corn chips, and sour cream. Counting the oil as my fat, the onions and peppers and tomatos as my vegetables, and the beans and brown rice as my carb, and then the roasted chicked as...well, as roasted chicken. I'll take some fruit and a Nutrisystem dessert with me. I don't drink anymore so I don't see that as an issue..
Good luck to you on the SuperBowl dining and GO SAINTS~!..
I agree, go Saints! I'm sick of hering Manning is some sort of god...he needs a few interceptions today to bring him down to earth - and the press..
