Got a quick question: What are your experiences with Weight Watchers, Nutrisystem, Nutrisystem, etc.? Looking forward for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. So, I finally made the time to clean out my closet and get rid of years of accumulated fat clothes. Of course, it felt fantastic, but there are several things I'd like to keep if possible. For example, on a business trip to Milan several years ago I bought a few nice Italian suits. All this stuff is way too big on me now, it looks like a little kid wearing dad's clothes.

Can you go from a 40 or 42 to like a 36 or 34, or is that too big of a reduction?..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you an answer..

You probably don't want to part with the expensive imported ones, but if you have other you could check out this suit drive:.

It does expire on the 30th though, but they give you a 10% coupon so that should help with the smaller replacements...

That sounds like a great program. I might give-up my Jimmy Im of Hong Kong custom suit for it. I met George Zimmer a few years ago at an Oakland Zoo event. He seems to be a stand-up guy so no doubt this suit program will help out a lot of guys...

The DW and I were going through the closet last night. I tossed all my old 48 dockers, and today at work my chick friends told me the 46s were baggy. I only have one pair of 44 dockers and one pair of jeans. I have a dozen suits that will be held up only by suspenders and I will look like the clown with the big pants. I get all my suits at Men's Wearhouse, so I plan get a new one in December and another one in June, and so on. I don't mind getting a new suit if it makes me look better. I will donate the old ones to a clothing charity...

This is actually really awesome. I've just gone through my closet to clear out all of my slacks, but hadn't quite decided what to do with the suits (like Hugebear, I was hoping I might get away with tailoring)...

YEEEEEEEIKES!.

(Only the NASCAR fans will get that one; cause there is only ONE DW!)..

WooHoo! After reading this thread, we got some stuff out of the attic. Back in the early 80's, I had a coat and tie job and saved a couple classic jackets and one really good suit when I got fat. They all fit! I had been buying really cheap things after I got fat, thinking "it's temporary until I lose some weight" and they looked pretty bad. They've all been donated. Even though I don't need to wear suits now unless someone dies or something, I'm set!! A 25 year roll-back!.

I just got back from donating a suit that I bought 2 years ago. I tried it on before I left home, and I was swimming in it! So long and good riddance, hopefully it can help someone else...
