I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you an answer..
Hmmmm took out the target and it's still changing the address and going out of the frame.
Here is the site.
Take a look and tell me if you see something wrong there please...
Complete url in frameset?.
This I used now:.
<frameset framespacing="0" frameborder="0" rows="1,*">.
<frame name="header" scrolling="no" noresize marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" src="http://zonehosts.com/disney/new_page_2.html">.
<frame name="disney" src="http://zonehosts.com/disney/index2.html" scrolling="auto">.
Result: address the same visiting an other page...
Sigh....still not working...even cleared my cookies and temp files incase that was the problem...but still changing the addy to the page being shown...and when I look at the sorce code (by going to view...then source) I see the actual code for the page...unlike the main page where I see the frameset code....unless I right click and go to view source then I see the actual code for the main page..
Take a look:.
There are only.
And a new_page2.html..
And your iPage site is loaded and no address change..
The new_page2.html I have made higher to see it...
Ok this is getting really frusterating.....the addy still changed for me....and it's not just me either I have had others look at my iPage site and it's changed on them too.
Here is the complete frameset code I have.
And here is the index2 code.
Gave the addy you posted to someone else and it also changed on them too :(..
Well like we say in Holland: "Schop mij maar om" (="Knock me down").
Is it a browser prob?.
When I go to your site: no address hange..
So the code looks to be OK..
In the source there is the frameset...........
Ok if it was a browser problem wouldn't it only not work for me??....i gave someone else the addy both mine and the one you posted and both times the addy changed on it....i'm useing IE6..not sure what the other person is using but it didn't work with them either..
Do you think that it could be cause of the applet??....that's the only thing I can think of that would maybe be messing it up....cause I used frontpage to make another quick test page and it worked just fine...but when I clicked on the link to open the main page...and then click on a link from there it took over the whole page...but using just reg. plain text links it would work..
If it is the applet, this has to work........
A new frame.
With 3 frames:.
In the menu I used plain text links..
You have to redo the position of the menu text info showing up..
Here is an other framesite:.
In both sites the address has to stay...
