I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I find an useful answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could assist you..

Thanks, Diana - hope your week was a good one and here's to a great next week, too!.

Beautiful welcome sign, you are a master at them! Love it..

I'm soooo down right now! I have completed three weeks, and this week lost nothing!! I was so happy about week one 13 pounds! Week two - 3 pounds! This week - nothing!!! I followed the plan religiously with the exception of having some nuts & two pieces of fruit! Would that be the reason that I didn't lose anything? Nuts & fruit? I'm eating on average no more that 1000 cals a day. I'm sooo down right now. Not sure nit's worth all this if losing least on ww you eat normal food, and is more affordable. I need help to keep me focused , folks, and to stick with this!..

Any new Crew members.

....we're having our own little.

Challenge to help us all get through the holidays. It's already started, but you can jump in - it ends Jan 2, 2011..

About our Challenge.

Here's the format:.

Report daily with a summary on Sunday. I will track the summary numbers and post.

- daily reporting is for our own accountability..

For your starting week, please tell me:.

(Weight Loss, Transition or Maintenance).

Medifast Starting Weight.

Challenge Starting Weight.

(Any day this week that you weighed will work if you don't have a Sunday/Monday weight).

Goal Weight.

Each day, report the following:.

OP: On our plan (5+1, 4+2, transition, maintenance): yes or no.

Water: _____ ounces.

Exercise: ______.

On Sunday or Monday report your weekly summary:.

Days OP:.

Days with water:.

Days with exercise:.

For those in Maintenance, I'm going to invoke the "fuzzy rule" - if you're within your goal range, report your goal number. That way, minor fluctuations aren't interpreted as gains.

Or losses.

Here's the banner - take out ALL the ***.

WE CAN CREWS through the holidays HEALTHY!!..

You're in the right place to get support and focus! Many people hit a plateau at week 3 - don't despair. We get used to having big losses and when they don't continue we get panicky. If you follow the plan, you WILL lose..

To put things in perspective, did you ever lose 16 lbs in less than a month with WW? Any other diet give those results? Medifast costs about $10/day - that's for 2 meals and 3 snacks. Can you buy 2 meals & 3 snacks for $10?.

Medifast is all about carbs so eating fruit can possibly knock you out of ketosis, the fat-burning state your body goes into when you keep your carbs below 100..

Don't give up...just keep on following the plan. It gets easier and the results are worth it! Join our little challenge - sure helps.

Keep focused...

Just got back from a walk (all decked out in orange) It ended up being a fairly nice day. I feel like I am starting over again today although I think I managed to stay in ketosis even though I didn't eat my 5 Medifast meals and I missed a serving of veggies yesterday. And I did eat out twice with way more protien than my lean allows. I did lose a little over a lb. this week but I was wanting more..

Wow....I just read the latest issue of Good Housekeeping. It reported that people who stayed in touch with an on-line community after their weight loss were more likely to keep the weight off. So I am here to stay. You aren't going to get rid of me too soon...

I am so glad barb, that you arent going anywhere. You and the other members of this crew keep me grounded and op. Always have good advice.... now I am off to read your blog..

Rough weekend....I'm just having a rough time getting back in the swing! I'm definitely glad that I've joined this group though and I also decided to get an accountability partner to also help me along the way. I notice that support is important for me..

I honestly didn't stay OP 100% this week, some days it was that I didn't eat enough Medifast and other that I just went off track. I'm really having to learn more about what works for me and what is going to work for me with my new job and new schedule. Last time I did Medifast I was in a totally different work environment and now I'm learning what is going to work best for me as far as scheduling. I guess recommitting on Wednesday has really taken me the rest of the week to really get it together, I think it is different for me the second time the first time - I was patiently waiting and exciting to dig into my package, now it is about committing to the program because I know it works and understanding the importance of - getting it right...because I have a second change. I appreciate everyone being so honest because it helps me realize that I'm not the only one that has struggles through this.....

I know next week will be better...I'm starting the week off right and moving around my eating schedule!.

Weight: 288 lb. (Wed weigh in).

Days OP: 2/5.

Days with water: 4/5.

Days with exercise: 3/5.

Wow - actually looking at this is shocking, I definitely could have done better! Tomorrow is Monday and it shall be magical!!..

Okay I guess we are reporting in on sundays for the daily stuff....

Op yes.

Exercise no.

Water 96 oz.

Daily stats for Sunday.

Exercise25 miles with the dogs, 4 hours of activity.

My Cabelas jeans size 18 are now unwearable and will have to be donated. My 16's are feeling mighty loose. Might be time to order a size 14..

Oh, yeah, Barb, please don't go anywhere. We need you right here with us...

YEAH!!! So happy for you! I love it when I get to buy smaller clothes..

(how tall are you?)..

Brenda, It the kettle ball the big round ball or that small half ball looking thing? I have a big ball but never knew what to do with it. I bought it because the chiropractor tiold me just to lay over it to help relax/stretch my shoulder...

And WELCOME. This is the most fantastic crew. There is a lot of support here no matter what phase you are in. We are lucky to have a couple members that continue to hang out with us even though they have made goal and have worked through trasnsition. With them on our crew, it reminds me that this is obtainable. You will find your comfort level with work/life issues and how to fit Medifast in to all of them. I have learned to be more prepared, always have a Medifast bar in every nook and crany and always have some source of protien prepared and waiting for you in the refrig...

, You cannot be down about losing 16 pounds in only 3 weeks. That is awesome. Allow your body time to adjust, it just figured out it wasn't getting easy calories like sugar and carbs so it takes time for it to let go. You will have times along the way that you have an occassional stall. As long as you are staying OP, you will lose, sometimes pounds, sometimes inches. Keep coming here for support and ask any questions that you have...

Happy Monday crew. It was a busy weekend for me. I was able to say no to the fast food that passed in front of me this weekend, but had to say NO to being OP yesterday. It wasn't anything major, but I did eat some sausage yesterday morning when I cooked breakfast for the GK's, then some grapes after returning from the grocery store. Like I said nothing major, but not OP. I am proud of myself for 6 out 7 days this week.

Thank you team for the challenge.

! Tuesday I will be on the road for a meeting, so I am ready with extra bars in the truck. They will be serving lunch, but last time it was something that I could eat.... grilled chicken, grean beans, salad, SKIP the dessert!!! hope it is something like that this time as well. Wednesday we are having Thanksgiving lunch at work. I know there will be turkey, tossed salad, and green beans. I am bring a couple dishes.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!!..

Oh, and on top of of all this food being around... my physcotic twin, TOM came to visit yesterday. So this made me extra proud that I was able to pass on the high-carb, comfort food that was so readily available this weekend..

Instead of a food reward I bought a new dress for a wedding that we will be attending this weekend. I'll take a picture. Poor DH needed bigger pants, and I got a smaller dress. Don't tell him I told you...

, congrats on the banner day!! You go girl!.

, you are just rocking this thing!!! So very, very proud of you....

, did you find us?.

Looking forward to getting to know you!.

I'm off for a quick run....

Hugs to all my Crew friends~..

Hey Crew!!.

Happy Monday!! I realized there are only 10 DAYS until we all get to tell the gluttony of Thanksgiving this year to get out of our way!! It's only a meal - don't let it defeat you!! We'll be going away to a Christian family camp for the entire Thanksgiving weekend and the kick-off is a Thanksgiving spread on Thursday evening that would put your grandma to shame! And basically it's a food fest until Sunday morning brunch. Let's just say, I'm a bit anxious about the temptation. I want to conquer it so bad!! I.

Conquer it!! There's too much at stake and too much already won!!.

Anyway, here are my stats this week:.

:140.5 (still hanging on to that last .5 that's preventing me from reaching 50 lbs!).

Days OP.

: 6 (had a few "extra" bites of not so lean meat on Saturday).

Days with water.

Days with exercise.

:3 (.

To get this up this week!).

, and any other.

New crew members.

- Way to go!! You are doing great - so happy you get to toss those size 18's out in the snow!! Keep it up!!.

, so glad to hear you aren't tired of us yet!!.

, thanks again for always getting our week off on track - I agree, you make the best welcome-week signs!.

- thanks for compiling our stats!.

- you're doing great, girl! Hope transition is getting easier for you!!.

- definitely post a picture in your new dress!! Shopping is so much more enjoyable now isn't it?.

, and everyone else - have a great start to your week!! Remember,.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

Welcome! I know a lot of people don't' lose any weight in the 3rd week. So don't be too discouraged. May also be a warning sign to tighten up during the week. Fruit can definitely cause your blood sugar to increase which will lead to other cravings. So be careful with that for sure..

You are doing great too! You'll probably remember me whining about those last 10lbs. Seemed like they would never come off. So just keep doing what you are doing and before you know it you will be in maintenance like me.

Thanks for doing all the crew stats! Did you get mine in the old thread yesterday?.

Sunday Stats.

Exercise 4.5miles.

OP Yes.

Water 180oz.

Yesterday was supposed to be my planned rest day from exercise but I couldn't resist running. I'm glad I did because something came up and I can't run tonight. Felt so good to get out there and run yesterday. I definitely can see why Barb ran on a bum knee!.

Yay for buying a smaller size dress! Looking forward to seeing pictures..

Happy Monday Crew! I've been having internet issues at home, so didn't check in this morning...don't even think I reported my Sunday daily:.

Water - yes.

Exercise - no.

I've been very slack on the exercise and the scale noticed. Going to do better this week..

Been collecting the stats - it makes it WAY EASIER for me if everyone follows the same format/order:.

Days OP:.

Days with water:.

Days with exercise:.

, you didn't report a weight..

, does.

Water Yes.

Mean 7 days with water?.

, did I miss your weekly summary?.

, still missing your summary.

Melissa & Barb.

, I got your summaries from last weeks thread - thanks!.

JAN - sorry,.

Yes, 7 days of water. I'm sure you are having your hands full doing this, but I am sure we'll all have it together next time. You are the guru!.

I'm not unhappy to be still at 122 after a big week in CA, but I'd be happier if I was dancing around a number that is 4 lbs. lighter. It's sure a lesson when you realize (finally) that this is an ongoing job to keep yourself in good shape and healthy. I know I was just taking it for granted my whole life, and now that I've lost the weight, I was taking it for granted that 'I'd changed' - right.....

HEIDI - hope you had a good run!.

DIDDYLHAM do not be discouraged!!! This is not a 10 lbs. lost a week plan. The slow and steady weight you lose (sometimes not every single week) is the way to change your whole life, so go with it, Dont think, dont question, just keep following the plan and you will know you are doing it right. The third week is notorious for disappointment for most people, so take heart, it's temporary..

COURTNEY Have fun at the camp. Just love when everything is planned as far as activities go. The only thing you have to plan is FOLLOW THE Medifast PLAN! Woo-hoo! You can do this and just keep remembering how thankful you are for MF!.

CHRISTINE you sure are getting a workout, makes me feel guilty when Im debating over when I will go and walk.what an inspiration and good example you are!!! Of course, you are reaping the benefits! Great job!.

SHERRY like your story that you bought your dress as a reward! Anxious to see a photo, Im sure you had fun finding it..

EBONY just try to focus and stay in the zone you have done this before and will do it again even better! Just post and post and read and read, were here for you..

Cheering for everyone of the Crew.

And shoutouts to Melissa, Bobbi, Brenda, Barb, Diana, Sharon and ALL of you, my favorite crewsers!.

Hey Sherry, I won't tell your DH, but don't you have just a little smile on your face?? Of course you want him to be fit and healthy too, but it still feels good for yourself to be looking good..

Courtney, OMGgood luck at the camp./ You are right, those things mean well but are pure temptation. Our church has a fitness program at one end of the hall and coffee and donuts at the other end. Go figure..

Debbie, this activity is great, but I will have to maintain in the spring when it is all over. But I can't wait to get on the sled and see how much of a difference there is this year..

Melissarun girl run. 20 more pounds and I will attempt running again. Hope the knees like it better now..

Hey Crewhope everyone rises to the challenge and has a great week..

Hi Crew,.

I'd love to be a newbie Crew member.

I'm beginning my 2nd week of MF. The first week was full of loads of tummy growling, but I made it.

I'm a stay at home mom, so the meal preparation for the rest of the family is tough - but I'm a tough girl so I CAN DO IT! I lost 7 pounds this week and I can't wait to see what the following weeks are..

Weight: 173 (DOWN FROM 180).

Days OP: 7.

Days with water: 7.

Days with exercise: 4.

During the rough days this week I really came to the Medifast Boards to encourage and inspire me when I felt like making a bad choice. Thanks!.

, Truth is I wasn't even looking for a dress, just glanced at the sale rack, pulled 2 off, ran to the dressing room, tried them both on and wa-la.... this one was perfect. Even better, it was $60.00 on sale for 24, 20% off, another 15% off, I had a $10 rewards coupon, it was almost free. Did all that after DH left the store and I was getting in line. LOL..

, Good news is that DH is much healthier than he was in the past. he was not eating well and at 6'4" weighed less than 200lbs. So, I am glad he has put on some weight, but now it is going to his belly. That's what he gets for eating ice cream in front of me.......

Glad you are joining the Medifast boards and the Can Do Crew. Congratulations for being OP and losing 7 lbs your first week. Be careful with the exercise. Medifast doesn't reccomend that you exercise for the first couple weeks, at least not anything high impact. Your body needs to adjust to the reduced calories before you exercise. The boards are very helpful and supportive.

So, I have committed to stopping by everyday..

BTW Crew, I will be absent most of the day tomorrow. I have a meeting to attend...

ALLISON - WELCOME! You are here at a good time, we are also hearing from a couple of other new "Crewsers" and we are happy to have you! You will do fine, just remember to keep on doing the plan - don't think, just do!! They make all of the plans for us, we just have to follow and it gets easier as you go along. We are here for you..

And DIDDYHAMM and EBONY glad you're here with us, this is the place for success..

Good night, Crew - here's to a fabulous TUESDAY OP!!!!.

[color="DarkRed"]Quick evening checkin...OP Yes, Water Yes, Exercise Yes.

Sherry - if you use My Plan to log exercise, making the bed, doing the dishes, even serving food, are all available choices. Didn't see shopping, but it most certainly uses more energy than serving food....I guess I've been exercising every day.

Happy Monday. Show week, so it will be late and brief, but know that I am with you all!.

OK everyone at onceBarb.we told you so. No more running until the knee is fixed. But.. Barb.. but sometimes I just have to run..Barb.

Sigh..the peas and aleve did their thing and Im walking on my knee, but a little sore today. All that pain after not running for weeks and just doing one little 5 mile run..

, just stick with us. We are here for you..

Losing her pants and OP! I love it when pants just fall right off. Well except for my students who wear them so low they are always falling off. I remind them that I dont think they want to see my undies, so they shouldnt show me theirs. Yikes.. I must be tired. Going off in weird directions tonight..

Kettleball had a DVD in it. Hmmmm.. I am trying to figure that one out..

! If we had PA weather instead of Florida weather, I probably would not have had the urge to run. Maybe I need to move to Maine! Or Alaska! Dresses on sale. I may need to go to Florida just to shop. I love to shop now, after all those years of not shopping..

Is counting down the days until.well you know that day. for us. I am hoping I am still sleeping off the anesthesia from Wednesday and am not hungry. Of course, Ill have the extra IV fluids to deal with on Friday morning for my one year at goal anniversary. Dont worry, you will let go of that .5 soon..

Planned ahead. Ran on a day she was to rest and then rested..because she all crew members know..that you have to rest muscles to let them recover so they can carry you farther and farther..

Is OP!!!!.

You are right it is ongoing..

, welcome to the crew!.

Waving to.

Welcome Allison. You will love this Crew. Not only are they inspirational, they are a HOOT!! (See barb's earlier post about underwear)..

Barb, up here in Alaska you can still run, just need your "yak traks". I'll be taking those to Nome with me Wednesday night so I can get in a walk or two Thursday and Friday after clinic is over. I have 14 little miles to reach the summer goal and just no time to take a walk. Since I won't have dogs and chores maybe I can find some walking time..

Monday stats.

Exercise 13 miles with the dogs, 3 hours of activity.

Weigh in Tuesday morning. Monthly body measurements Tuesday night. We'll see if the two correlate......

Morning Crew. Up & at 'em early this morning - 2.4 miles on the treadmill - 50 minutes..

Yesterday was my measure day (thanks for the reminder, Christine) and I forgot all about it.....

...I'll measure tomorrow morning instead..

I think everyone is checked in for the weekly summary so I'll get the stats out at lunch..

See you then!..

Jan ~ awesome idea!!! I definitely need some accountability!!.

I have messed up so bad, the stress had taken over, but no more. I need to take care of me! I need to put ME first (after God, of course)! I gained 22 lbs in the past 3 months, and am the heaviest I've been in a year and a half.

The stress of my husband being on workers comp, and not getting his checks on time, not having the money to buy my Medifast food, struggling with paying bills, it's just been too much. I am back on plan today, 201 lbs..

Today is going quite well - I'm 100% so far, got in 2 meals, excercise and 64 oz of water..and it is only 11am! I know the rest of the day is going to be great, I'm focusing on control, so I can have a true 100% day..and more to come!.

- Congrats on the 50 lb lost! That's amazing, I hope to sporting the badge in the next few months (hopefully March/April)!..

You can do it! I totally understand your fustration - over the last year and half - I gained around 60 lbs, I was around 240 (May 2009) and then this year I hit 305 around July! So I know what stress and not taking care of yourself can do to you, but I'm learning that we can always's never to late to do something different than you are doing..

And even with the stress of bills and money - I lost my job about a month ago and at first - I was a little down, but once I looked at is a positive and kept moving happily and not letting it get to me, things started to fall into place - I put my trust in God and knew that if he took that job away from me - it was for a reason and he would give me one better and it may have been what I needed to turn some things around in my life - regarding my health and being able to workout more often and stay focused! Sure enough - once I started looking at it differently - blessings started flowing my way and I was offered another job, but someone affiliated with my other job who heard I had left...they didn't even interview me and offered me a position doing something totally different and getting paid more! So...just try to stay positive - it is what got me through. Now we all have to support each other as we tackle this - this is my priority! And I was worried about starting Medifast because of paying for the food but I'm stepping out on faith and knowing that something will come through I still have 2 months of food left and I'm setting aside little by little for when I run out! The important thing is that we are all here and we all want to lose weight and are doing something to change it - that's a major step (for me)!.

So - keep your head up Diana and it is obvious that you are keeping God first...just know he has plans for you!.

Happy OP Day!..

Thanks for the welcomes.

Wow Courtney! You inspire me - 50 lbs is such an accomplishment. Woot! Woot!.

Diana - great job coming back to Medifast and good luck!.

Ebony - reading your post made me drink some more water so now I'm at 64 oz too. Thanks for the motivation..

Have a great day,.

YAY Courtney!!!.

Here it is - take out the stars:.

OK, I've compiled everything. I'm giving out 'ribbons' for OP and water. I decided against exercise because folks have schedules and rest days and what not, so I don't know how to compare apples to apples, so to speak..

Blue Ribbon for 7 days, Red (really pink so you can still read it) for 6 days and 5 days gets a 3rd place ribbon. I didn't know what color 3rd place ribbons are, so I made them green to keep with our holiday theme..

Also, you maintenance folks, I have a Week 1 Weight Lost column...I know you have a range, so how do you want to see this? I can just put GOAL in there, or not compute it or, or, or.....

Let me know. Here it is for now - maybe a visual will help you decide how you want it reported..

CONGRATS to all the losers!!!!..

Hi all, I am back sooner than thought and I am plying hookie from work the rest of the day. ssshhhh don't tell..

, WOW!!!!! so happy for you!!!!.

, How nice to get a ribbon, I lov it!.

Glad to hear you didn't have to wait long to get another job..

Hope your knee in getting better. I love the fact that you are hooked on running. I worry, after breaking the ball of my foot 2 times, (and don't know how) what I would do if that happened again. I walk nearly every day on the treadmill, It has become my "me time"..

Glad to see you back on the boards. I have had my rough, stressed, work issues, off plan time but the only way this works for me is to be here. And prior to the challenge small sugary halloween treats were creeping back into my hands..

I finally found the choco mint gum. It is much better than I thought it would be..

, I totally forgot about taking measurements. Glad you brought that up, I am going to do that tonight..

Brenda, Heidi, Bobbi, Allison, Debbie, everyone.

..... Hope you are having a beautiful day~~~..

Great Job Courtney!!.

Mon Stats:.

OP Yes.

Water 92oz.

Exercise No.

Babysitting GKS yesterday & today & tomorrow too. Busy week..

My kettleball is a ball with a handle on it & weighs 5 lbs. It came in a box along with a DVD. I asked for a lower weight because I have a really bad shoulder & everytime I try to strengthen my upper body my shoulder gets so painful I can't sleep. The lower weight kettleball is working so far. But I was surprised how sore my legs were when I did the first workout. I also have a big exercise ball I sit on and do exercises the physical therapists gave me for my back & knees.

(I sound like I am a real wreck, but I have always been pretty active) These problems are the reason I am determined to lose all the weight & keep it off. As the Dr told me my frame was designed for 120 not 220 lb...

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the congrats and the awesome badge!! When I started back in March, although I wanted to.

The badge, I don't think I thought I would/could. So many times before I'd tried and failed. The joy I felt this morning was wonderful!.

Sure the products are the catalyst and if you follow the plan, it will work. But without the support of all of you, I don't know if I could have held on for this long. Several of my friends are now doing Medifast and are having success on the program so we can talk about how much of an impact the change can make on your life, but only you Crew, can really understand how even today at 50 lbs. lighter, it IS a daily struggle to make the right decisions. If you're just starting out, my advice to you is to stick to it! The days will be hard especially given all the temptation over the next 6 weeks - but as my health coach told me, wouldn't you rather hit 2011 with 10-15 more pounds off than to do what everyone else does and look at yourself in the mirror on New Year's Day 10-15 pounds heavier and feeling defeated? YOU are worth it, WE are worth it. Focus on the fellowship, not on the food!.

Thanks again for all the support and I know I'll continue to need it for months to come!!.

Now I've got to focus on these last 10 pounds!!.

So here it is, my.

New badge.

! Thanks, Jan!!..

You ROCK for doing all that you do for the crew!.

Yup planning is the best lesson I learned from you. Had to re-arrange my planned exercise day off and I'm back at it tonight though.

Welcome Allison!!!.

Having a busy day but love all the new crew members and all the posting. Great way to stay OP reading about everyone. Have a great day crew!..

Thanks go to.

- I got it from her..

You hit the nail on the head - a daily struggle made less so by all you in the Crew! And just another reminder.....

It doesn't stop when you hit goal.

...following the T&M plan is just as important...said the woman who tried to rewrite it and gained over 20 lbs.

I'm done beating myself up about it, but I really want all you to take T&M seriously and learn from my mistakes. I heard Barb in my head every time I had an off plan bite, but I tuned it out and went merrily on my way..

So, one day at a time, one packet at a time, and one holiday at a time, WE CAN DO it!!..

Hi everyone! Just a quickie check in for now. I'm not sure I accounted for yesterday, so let me add this:.

OP no.

Exercise no.

Water 80 oz..

OP yes, definitely, no joke, no badness, all good....

Exercise - 35 min. walk/run (well, shuffle).

Water - 82 oz..

I really do well when I remember to pack my lunch and have an apple to eat on the drive home in the afternoon. That saves me every time..

Congratulations!!! Well done!!!.

Good work on the challenge, Crew, and thanks for the ribbons, JAN - I like that!.

Looking forward to getting to know you!.

Hi Heidi and everyone else! I FOUND YOU!!! YAY! Heidi, thanks for the directions! I am so glad I found you all! What support and inspiration!.

I am down 18 pounds in 3 1/2 weeks! And best even is that I am feeling so great. I did not feel good at all for the first 2 1/2 weeks and was worried about continuing! Thank goodness that passed. Now I feel better and have more energy than my PRE Medifast days! YAY!.

I don't expect the weight to keep dropping this fast (although it would be wonderful!)- do you all find that it slows down a lot?.

Starting weight - 220.

Todays weight - 202.

OP- 3/3.

Water - yes.

I AM LOVIN THIS!!!!! sharon..

Happy Tuesday. A little late, but here to check in..

On Plan: Yes (and some in the bank!).

Water: Yes.

Exercise: Yes, steps, even with the knee protesting..

, I would have never thought Id replace sugar with running. Its one or the other for me.and I know which one I would rather have. In a little over a week I expect the doctor to tell me Im as good as new..

, what the heck are Yak Tracks? They kind of sound a little dangerous to me. Almost like Moose Tracks, which in fact happens to be one of my favorite types of ice cream, which is certainly dangerous! Ill have to google them..

, welcome back. First step to regaining control..

, congratulations on hitting the 50 mark! I know how you feel. Celebrate, you made it..

My students were looking for the bathroom pass all day. Turns out that.

Has had it. Drink that water! Science says.and yes it is true, because science is always accurate (well except for some of the science that my students do) ..water breaks down fat. So we drink water..and go to the bathroomconstantly! Welcome to the crew.

, the statistics look good to me! Not sure I want to be a little voice in anyones head. Might be a little scary. Thats what my students would say at least..

, I hope class is going well. Its good to see you more often again..

I love it when a plan works..

Waving to.

Is shuffling! I think my knee wants me to do that..

Welcome to.

This is quite the crew!.

Wow, I hope I got everyone. If I didnt, I apologize..

Fight the good fight every day!.

Hi kids - it seems that I had to get out all of my old 'motivational sheets' and plaster them around the kitchen once more. I actually needed to keep busy this evening and then I found the.

'things to do instead of eating' sheet.'.

I remembered that my sock drawer needed cleaning and - voila! - my sock drawer got cleaned and I did not take a second yogurt!!.

Now I'm happy with some tea and feeling relaxed and so glad I did well today..

BARB, yep, I was shuffling - I've never run in my life and I know that if I have a shorter time to exercise, I can speed it up by my silly little shuffle..

Gives the dogs a faster pace, too..

MELISSA, COURTNEY, BRENDA, BOBBI, HEIDI, JAN, CHRISTINE, DIANA, JAN - enjoying everyone's posts and advice and, of course, ideas and encouragement! You guys rock!.

SHARON, EBONY, KIM, ALLISON - glad to see you all here with the Crew, welcome and keep on keepin' on, you are doing this!!! yahooo!.

Here's to tomorrow everyone..

Comment #69 my AM started off - great! Then - mid day, my lucky friend of the month decided to come along for the ride and shake up my day and had NO mercy. I didn't really have an appetite today..

OP: No (2MF & L&G).

Water: 100 oz..

Workout: Yes (60 minutes - cardio mix)..

Good morning, Crew. Mixing it up with 20 minutes on the treadmill this morning...more later, or perhaps a walk....

It's HUMP DAY!!..

Good Morning Crew..

After a marvelous weigh in yesterday I lost focus. Dang it..

I have renewed my focus for today..

Tuesday stats.

OPnot even close.

Water-squeaked out 64 with a big drink right before bed.

Boy, that's all hard to admit after a great three weeks. FOCUS, Christine, FOCUS......

Christine, I totally understand! I had to come on here a few minutes ago just to get focused again today. I'm working at someone elses house today, so there are a lot of snacks around, so I started to eat a few wheat thins and I'm like - what am I doing. I had to go sit outside (where I am now) with my laptop and work out here insetad of the kitchen, it was too distracting, so even though I may have started the AM off - doesn't mean I can't have an OP rest of the day, wow - that just hit me. Usually I woulld have a rough AM and just say...well I've messed up on being 100% OP, but I can be OP from 10:30am until the end of the day...recommitting in this moment! I think sometimes it's like - I can't have that so I just want to taste it...I can have wheat thins maybe oneday...when i'm 100 lbs lighter! (Then I probably won't even like them anymore!)..

YAY Ebony!! Yes, we can start our day over at any moment. Your thought process "I messed up, I might as well have this or this or this..." is very common. That's what led to my weight gain during keep up the good work!!..

Yesterday I said I did the stair climb at work. I know I posted this in the past, but it's worth repeating....I work with a bunch of engineers and one of the 'climbers' posted these stats on our internal Wiki :-).

When I first started, I could go up all 7 flights, but I had to rest 3 times! They laughed at me as they passed me on their way down..

So, I started climbing the south stairwell..

Now, I can go up & down 3 times.

Without resting.

Which means, I do 516 steps, climbing up & down 295.62 feet! It takes me about 15 minutes and it's a good workout. I'm tempted to send the stats to the Exercise & Training folks and see how I should log it..

OP - yes.

Water - yes, 150 + oz.

Exercise - yes 30 min TM..

Hey Crew!.

Tuesday stats:.

OP: YES!!.

Water: 100+ (I lost count).

Exercise: not exactly, but I was running around all day!!.

Okay, Crew!! They often say that the mind is the first to go - and perhaps now I can verify that!! Here I thought I was losing inches, losing fat, losing all sorts of other stuff, but in fact I discovered today that I must be losing brain cells too!!.

I just finished going online and applying for my DH and I to run the NYC Marathon in Nov. 2011!!! I KNOW!! He did it in 2006, and I never thought I'd want to - but NOW I do!! I'll be 39 next year when the race occurs and what better way to celebrate almost 4 decades of my life!! They won't notify us until March or April if we got in for next year, so I will definitely let you all know what happens!! There is also another old saying that goes something like this -.

Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it!.

! LOL!!.

I know losing 50 pounds is just the beginning of my new life, and it is so exciting not fully knowing what the future holds!! The sky is the limit!! But don't count on my sky-diving!! I will NEVER do that!!.

Love you Crew!..

NYC Marathon very very exciting! You will have to keep us posted if you guys get in!.

How is the play doing? When will it be finished?.

Awesome job walking up all those flights of stairs without stopping I've very impressed!.

Tuesday stats.

OP Yes.

Exercise 4 miles running.

Water 170+..

Jan, I use DietController app to log in my meals and exercise. I put in stairs - it comes up "running, stairs, up" - for the heck of it, I put in 20 minutes. It comes out as follows:.

Running, stairs, up.

20 minutes.

248 calories burned!.

May or not help you, but it could give you an idea. Although, I don't run up and down 2 at a time like I always have in the past (those days are over) I do think that you have given me a great idea to use the stairs every day for a bit to boost my calories burned. Great idea.... let me know if you find different stats...

I feel so motivated just reading your posts!.

Courtney - wow, the NYC marathon how cool!.

Debbie - love the idea of a list of things to do instead of eating ... I'm going to work on mine today..

OP yes.

Water 96 oz.

Exercise yes (totally enjoying this awesome CA sunny weather - I'm still in shorts!).

Have a great day!.

Wow Courtney!!! I hope you get inWhat an awesome accomplishment!!!! keep the details coming. How much will you train? What will you eat in training?.

Jan, 516 steps??? Another Wow!!!.

Ebonyit must be warm where you are. Outside is too cold for computers up here. But you are rightMF has kept me from totally losing it as much as I used too. I am not perfect, by any means yet, but I'm trying every day, every meal, every snack..

Debbie, thanks for the calorie counts. And the list idea..

As always, the Crew is a strong motivating force. We CAN do this, all together..

My Plan Log Exercise only gave me 310 calories for 50 minutes on the treadmill and 15 minutes stair climbing! 113 for the stairs and 197 for the treadmill!.

GYP!! GYP!!.

So, the scale should DEFINITELY start moving....any day now.

Happy Wednesday. I am just loving the fact that it takes me so long to read over the events of the day. But first..

On Plan: Yes and adding to the bank today..

Water: Yes, 100 ounces.

Exercise: Yup.walking so the knee doesnt scream at me..

, believe it or not, my lists are still on the refrigerator and the pantry door. Im not sure if they will ever come down. Talk about a constant reminder of a habit. But in 51 years of life, my sock drawer, closet, refrigerator, and laundry room have never ever been so clean!.

, even if you dont feel like it you have got to eat. Try the hot cocoa or one of the other drinks. That might not bother you as much as the food meals..

Is getting so much closer to 100 pounds. Go Christine go!.

Is climbing and climbing steps! I love to climb steps when I am in a rush and need a quick exercise. I think it makes your tush look so much better, well at least now that I have one..

Is drowning in 150 ounces of water. Im throwing you a life preserver!.

Is going to train for NYC next year! You go girl. I will be looking forward to see how the training goes. My goal is to do a half marathon sometime in the next year, when my knee is repaired. I will be rooting for you..

Needs a port-a-potty. 170 ounces. Yikes. I bet your body loves you! The play is over on Saturday night. Ive got a board meeting at school tonight, so I came home for a little dinner salad with some grilled chicken so I can stay on plan and put a little into the bank. I really want to prepare for Black Friday.

Thanksgiving is not going to set me back, but I do want to have a bite of some of the things I passed up last year..

Is in shorts and I am in my wool coat with a hand warmer in my glove. How wrong is that?.

Bobbie, Diana, Heidi.

, and.

, Im waving at you and hoping I didnt forget anyone..

Fight the good fight every day!.

Month 1: -8, 5, - 2, - 4 = -19.

Month 2: -3, -2, -1, -3 = - 9.

Month 3: -4, -2, -4, -2 = - 12.

Month 4: Scaleless in Maine = -11.

Month 5: -2, -2, -3, -2 = -9.

Month 6: -2, -3, -4, -1 = -10.

Month 7: - 2, -2, -2, -2, -2 = -12.

Month 8: -2, -2, -2, -2 = -8.

Transition: -20 (for a total of -108).

GOAL: Black Friday, November 27, 2009.

Current Weight is 138. I am healthy!..

Thats for the life preserver.

I am floating away, I'll pass it to.

Today was our luncheon at work for Thanksgiving. I didn't plan to be on plan, but I didn't go overboard. I filled up on meat, salad, green beans (not the casserole) broccoli salad, nothing white or yellow on my plate. Then I had some spinach dip and dessert. I got the itty bitty plate and had a bite of almost everything. I was still so full that I was miserable the rest of the day.

Oh yea, I had sweet potatoes.... love them, look forward to adding them back to my menu..

Hope you all had a great day!..

OP - yes, just finishing my brownie.

Water - Yes, and still guzzling!.

Exercise - added another 1.15 miles in 23 minutes after work. Didn't get much of a walk in this afternoon as planned, so took advantage of not having to rush home to make dinner - DH had a meeting tonight so he's on his own, which means, ME TOO!.

- please keep us posted on your training and progress for the marathon. I did a half marathon in my youth and always wanted to do a whole one. I don't know if my old knees would survive, but I'm definitely with you in spirit..

I had a grilled chicken salad at lunch. Love splittin' that L&G. Soon, your play will be done, your knee will be fixed and you will be celebrating 1 year at and.

Goal! Black Friday will forever be special...needs a new color, I'd say.

We have a luncheon for Christmas that's actually called 'The Pig Out'. Last year I skipped it and had my soup. Got lots of funny looks from folks, but this crew saved me. I was posting every half hour, seems like. They start setting up about 10 and you can smell all the food all over the floor. I'm not sure what I'll do this year - I might hide out at our backup center..

- how was your run?.

Waving to Christine, Brenda, Bobbi, Heidi, Diana, Debbie and the rest of the crew!..

ALLISON & CHRISTINE - I had good advice from my Crew pals to make the to do lists and put them up all over. One of mine is "10 minute activities" (clean sock drawer, undies drawer, straighten magazines, read 5 pages in my book..." I also have 30 minute activities, like pack a box of old books in the basement, etc. It really does make quite a difference when you want to grab something to eat. You HAVE TO STOP and do one other thing first, it usually changes your mind, you just move on, the crave has passed. Like Barb said, drawers and cupboards look so nice afterwards and it's a great feeling to have accomplished these small tasks!!.

I, too, am loving everyone's blogs lately. Is it me or is the challenge really making a difference to how everyone is feeling these days? Also, just so many more posts now and it's more fun!.

JAN - you are working your head (and other things) off, you go girlfriend! You are motivating me, truly..

BARB - glad the play is almost done, hope it was a big success and that your knee is getting well. DH is icing his hamstring every night and finally had our neighbor (ortho surgeon) tell him tonight to STAY OFF OF IT and do something very light. I think he got the message finally.... You runners sure love to run..

COURTNEY - Wow, how exciting -putting yourself out there, really good job! This Crew is really good as your personal cheerleaders when you need it - we'll be there for you..

SHERRY & MELISSA - grab that life preserver and pass it on! You guys are doing great and I grabbed another 32 oz. since I read your posts and Barb's..

BARB - also need to mention that you have really given me a wake up call about Thanksgiving - I need to have something in the bank so that I can enjoy a little of this and that, but I am going in with a real plan and taking my own guiltless pumpkin pie/ff cool whip thing. Also, taking Waldorf salad (everyone hates to make it but me, so I get off easy and this year will use non-fat mayo, since that's our family tradition. I'm kicking up my exercise and sticking with bean salad and such leading up to next week's dinner. The further challenge of it is fun..

Waving to all of my friends - Diana, Heidi, Bobby, Brenda, Diana, Ebony, and all of you cool Crewsers!.

PS - I'm off to watch "People's Sexiest Man Alive", since they will have lots of Hugh Jackman on...OMG, he's on again.........

Happy Thursday...this has been yet another interesting week for me, but everyday gets better and every day I get more focused and learn more about myself. I've already hit the gym at 5:30am today and have all my Medifast meals planned for the day. I woke up this morning - determined to make today a 100% day!.

I read something amazing yesterday and I had to share it with everyone. I think it really is something that we all have challenges with and I feel that being a part of this group - has helped me understand what this writer is is all about making choices! When I read amazing things - I feel like I should share it with amazing people! Happy Reading...hope it sparks something in you like it did for me..

Change Begins with Choice.

By Jim Rohn.

Any day we wish; we can discipline ourselves to change it all.. Any day we wish; we can open the book that will open our mind to new knowledge. Any day we wish; we can start a new activity. Any day we wish; we can start the process of life change. We can do it immediately, or next week, or next month, or next year..

We can also do nothing. We can pretend rather than perform. And if the idea of having to change ourselves makes us uncomfortable, we can remain as we are. We can choose rest over labor, entertainment over education, delusion over truth, and doubt over confidence. The choices are ours to make. But while we curse the effect, we continue to nourish the cause.

We have both the ability and the responsibility to make better choices beginning today. Those who are in search of the good life do not need more answers or more time to think things over to reach better conclusions. They need the truth. They need the whole truth. And they need nothing but the truth..

We cannot allow our errors in judgment, repeated every day, to lead us down the wrong path. We must keep coming back to those basics that make the biggest difference in how our life works out. And then we must make the very choices that will bring life, happiness and joy into our daily lives..

And if I may be so bold to offer my last piece of advice for someone seeking and needing to make changes in their life - If you don't like how things are, change it! You're not a tree. You have the ability to totally transform every area in your life - and it all begins with your very own power of choice...

Good morning everyone!.

I have to say yesterday was a tough day and I'm glad I had the courage and strength to get through it while staying OP - thanks to this board for giving me ideas and inspiration.

Now onto a crazy busy day - although I find it is easier for me to stay OP when I am busy. Those quiet moments are a killer for me! Although as a mom to 3 young kids, I don't have too many quiet moments.

Wed. Check-in.

OP: yes.

Water: 96oz.

Exercise: yes.

Have a great day!.
