Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably know..

Great, that worked!! I believe I did everything except for this:.

* You need to add one field to the customers table. Here is the SQL statement that.

Would accomplish this :.

ALTER TABLE customers ADD customer_discount DECIMAL(5,2) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL;.

I have no idea what they mean. Where do I add this????.

This should be the last step. I hope...

I still can't figure out where to put this:.

* You need to add one field to the customers table. Here is the SQL statement that.

Would accomplish this :.

ALTER TABLE customers ADD customer_discount DECIMAL(5,2) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL;.

And I get this error when I try to checkout and when I click on my customers in the admin control:.

1054 - Unknown column 'c.customer_discount' in 'field list'.

Select c.customers_gender, c.customers_firstname, c.customers_lastname, c.customers_dob, c.customers_email_address, a.entry_company, a.entry_street_address, a.entry_suburb, a.entry_postcode, a.entry_city, a.entry_state, a.entry_zone_id, a.entry_country_id, c.customers_telephone, c.customers_fax, c.customers_newsletter, c.customer_discount, c.customers_default_address_id from customers c left join address_book a on c.customers_default_address_id = a.address_book_id where a.customers_id = c.customers_id and c.customers_id = '3'.

[TEP STOP].

Is this because I haven't added that little snippet of code yet???..

Yes the error is showing you part of a sql query and this.

C.customer_discount.

Is looking for the table in the database that equates to the line you have to add to add the line startup phpMyAdmin in the left hand window select the database and in the right hand window select the SQL tab then in the query window paste the query.

And hit go.

That should be job done..
