I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I find an good answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably know..
I actually saw her act of shaving her head as empowering. You may think Im nuts for saying that but it seems like she is ready to kick ass and doesnt care what is in her way. It does make it real but it also makes it real that she's receptive and accepting this and her act was not that of a typical patient so to speak but triumphant honestly..
Im sorry about your loss. My parents are both living so I am not going to pretend that I can understand how you feel but at least know I am here for you..
I agree with Josie...I think it was empowering also! Sending thought and hugs to you Ricky..
Sending you love and light today. Thank you for sharing this with us. I.
You are ok. Peace, Misa..
Sending you peace and letting you know you're in my thoughts...
My prayers go out to you and your family, I have lost both of my parents to cancer, hang in there everything will be ok Hugs to you..
I also agree with Josie... she is not going to lie still she sounds like asa fighter..
I am sorry for your loss. My dad passed away in 1988 mom followed 10 yrs later. I was 36 and felt like an orphan :(.
That she beats this and lasts a very long time..
Sorry to hear that mom has cancer. Just be a good listener. Cancer makes you feel like noone can know how it is to have this fight. You feel all alone cause it's your fight and only yours. Even though you may feel helpless and wish she didn't have to endure this and you probably would do it for her if you could, just hearing her out can be a help to her.Giving her your time means alot. The head shaving-mom's got spunk and spirit-She's gonna need that.May God bless her and help her through this and keep her brave...
I know a lot of older people really care how they look and take care of themselves. My mom is 75 and is more prissy than me so maybe shaving her head was her way of making herself feel like herself again. I wish the best for your mom and I am glad to hear that she is doing well with chemo. I will keep her and you in my thoughts...
