That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could answer your iPage question..

If you want to add another field to the product table there are a couple of contributions. (I assume that if you want them added to the admin side you want them added to your catalog as well?).

Product Extra Fields.

Or.

Add new products fields.

Research both of these to see if they will do what you want...just a heads up if you us easy populate you will need to add the fields there as well.....make sure the contibution will work with that as well......

I am sorry that I was not clear..

In the admin section under Categories / Products I only see two headings:.

- Categories / Products – which describes the product.

- Status – active / inactive.

What I want to do is put two fields price and model. I want to do this so I don’t have to click the edit button everytime I want to see the price & model..

I hope this is clear.

Thanks.

Calvin,.

Just sent you an email. Where do you want your files?.

Normally people either put them in the root directory like www.domainname.com or they put them in a folder called catalog or store like www.domainname.com/catalog_or_store.

I cannot even find your admin files..

Where do you want your store files?..

I see what you are saying you want to cut a step out. Not a bad Idea....going thru all those clicks can be a pain.....

But...I am not sure how to add that.....guess you will have to pull the info from those DB tables and have a new category under the ADMIN...I will look around and see if I can find anything.......

Is there an answer to this question about displaying the product_model? The thread is all over the place..

There is a contribtion for displaying the product_model but it's not complete for M2 2.2 and doesn't seem to work.

I could also really do with showing the product_model in the admin as it has been pointed out, clicking the edit is apain in the ass.

Are you wanting to add sub-categories to your categories or are you wanting to add attributes to a product?..
