Good question... I dunno what is the answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I find an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you an answer..

If you really want to change the layout you need to edit all files in the catalog dir (or install a template system, or wait for MS3)..

I'm not sure, but I think there is a conrtibution to change how the items display the way you want..

(and for the colors I agree with Peter of course)..

Ok, which files contain the html source codes and what template system is there to install?..

Currently STS and BTS, best to search these forums for details hthey both already have been discussed lots of times. You can find both at the contributions download section..

Talking about the HTML source code Peter mentioned? I think Peter ment that you open the shop in your browser and use your browsers HTML source view to lookup available classes..

If you ment you want to alter the source code itself you can find most in the catalog root dir, but there's also some of it spread around over about almost all other files..

Good luck!..

Hi,.

Yes, that is exactly what I meant, "JD" , thanks..

Here is a simple/quick way to change to (say) green .............

1. Take a backup of stylesheet.css.

2. Modify as follows:.

.infoBox {.

Background: #047a62;.

}.

TD.infoBoxHeading {.

Font-family: Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;.

Font-size: 10px;.

Font-weight: bold;.

Background: #047a62;.

Color: #ffffff;.

}.

But, you may want to wait for MS-3, it apparently has a template system with it..

Peter.

The stock version of osCommerce does not have a 'template'. there are no separation of html files and php files, all intermixed..

The stylesheets work well..

As far as waiting, dont know if you have ever heard of 'vaporware' as there can be bugs which delay, etc..

Best to get your feet wet now and know what is going on and learn...

I fully agree with that..

Almost anything you"ll learn about MS2 will probably be usefull for MS3 too when it's ready. I only would not concentrate on layout templating now, unless you really have too, but rather start with other issues..

But of course it all depends on what you want to achieve..

Hi,.

Simply look at the html source code that you want to change, see what "class" is used for the code, and then change that class in the file styleshet.css.
