Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could help you..
The price is not the problem..
I have fixed the price issue..
The problem is I want to disable the accounts feature altogether and simply send the items in the cart to an email address (the store owner email address)..
This would mean I can do all the processing myself instead of getting users to set up accounts etc..

Anything is possible and it's easy enough to remove the login..
However, the cart is going to need to be tied to that customer somehow if you plan on emailing them regarding their enquiry (or 'inquiry' if you're American)..
What I would do (and this is a bit of work), is modify create_account so that it only has an email address field. Password field can be hard-coded there and in login, or you can modify the login so that it only checks for email address..
Call it something else other than 'Create Account' if you'd like to. Hell, just title it 'Please enter your email address so that we may contact you regarding your enquiry.'.
This way customers don't have to go through a reg process, cart contents are saved and tied to that email address and you are able to do things the way you need them done...
I use it without people creating accounts and I still send the newsletters....
Use the Newsletter subscriber (contribution) etc to get the email from the customers and send them newsletters.....
In the subscription centre you can add all info necessary to you...
Is there a way to disable the user login etc BUT keep the cart system for enquiry purposes?.
Due to a rough market in my field, I cannot post prices on the iPage website so this means that the user must email the products they are interested in and we email them back confirming orders etc..
I know I probably should be using something else but I love oscommerce and php is really really cool..
Any help would be greatly apprecated.
I think there is a contribution for call for price.
Here try this one.
