Or you could simply cut and paste the html code for the flash embed straight into the banner manager in Admin!.

Admin/banner_manager.php.

Eg.

<OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000".

Codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=5,0,0,0".

WIDTH=468 HEIGHT=60>.

<PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="images/banner.swf"> <PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high>.

<PARAM NAME=bgcolor VALUE=#FF0000>.

<EMBED src="images/banner.swf" quality=high bgcolor=#FF0000  WIDTH=468 HEIGHT=60 TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash"></EMBED>.

</OBJECT>.

Where 'images/banner.swf' is the location of your banner on your server!.

Its worked for me..

Where exactly do you put ths code in the admin/banner_manager.....

Comment #3

Yes in admin/banner_manager.php when you create or edit a banner there is a text box titled 'HTML Text:' just copy and paste the code into there and it should work, remember to change the code to locate your flash banner..

Any problems let me know...

I did the same as aboveBut I think I don't understand the output of the changeI thought the banner would replace the oscommer.gif banner at the index.php page ( the "welcome" screen").

I want the code to replace the "dcs logo" at the top of my page ..

Myshop..

Comment #6

Make your HTML code for flash image and place in the /catalog/includes/header.php page, should do it..

Also it's not polite to leave your caps lock key on, it's considered as shouting...
