I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the right answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I discover an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can help you..
That did not work, i've attached a link but this is what happens if I just delete the image, it will try to display it but since it is gone it just displays an empty box. As you can see from the second item though the image required is turned off..
Any help will be greatly apriciated. Thank you...
In the admin/configuration/images set required images to false...
Image required if off but for certain products, you still have them using images...
Btw, the easiest way for you to quickly remove them all is to 'Empty' that field in phpMyAdmin..
Or to upload a white block file on the ones he doesnt want to use an actual image on..

I whent to myphpadmin and just opend the products and set the img field to null and the wierd images holdes whent away. !!!.
I setup a iPage site with about 60 products. I uploaded a lot of duplicate images for these products. I've decited I want the products to have no images now but I can not find a good way to turn off the images with out having to RE do all my products..
I've tried just deleting the image from the server but then I get a lot of "image not found" boxes (even with images required turned off). Is there a way that I can maybe run a slq statment to delete all the image maps for my products ? Or will I need to redo all my products. Please help...
In the admin side of your iPage site turn "require imaes to false".
Then delete all the images from the images folder..
That will work..
