Good question... I dunno what is the answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could assist you..
I can see all the net. But not my site...
Whats your web iPage site address? so I can have a look..
I had the same problem a couple of months back and it was all to do with the windows xp firewall..
All I did to resolve it was turn it on and then turn it off again and I aint had the problem since..
Hope this helps.
Site is www.lppc.com.au or lppc.com.au/STORE.
As far as I am aware, thisis not applicable for 2 reasons..
1. Windows Firewall is not active on ADSL as all settings are with the modem..
2. My ISP set up a different account and IP address and all worked fine..
Let me know if you disagree or any other suggestions..
I'm in Oz, and can't ping to that domain, can't reach it via a browser, and this tool:.
Stated there is no IP..
Appears to be a nameserver problem, try this:.

Time to nag your host provider.
I also get the same results as Peter R..
I can't see if from the UK either..
Unable to ping, or nslookup...
My problem originated when I installed wanadoo broadband..
The iPage domain is apparently registered thru melbourneit.com, and they have the nameser details as:.
I tried pinging the first nameserver, ......... timeouts..
Are you sure the IP addresses are correct for the nameservers ? .
I can't get it either, ran a test and get.
I would contact your server for help..
Thanks for everyones help..
To make things worse, the whole server went down (dead) from Sat. night to laste Sun. night. That is why there was nothing for you guys..
The problem that I was having was EVERYONE ELSE could see my sites, but I COULD NOT!!.
I have been told that there was a block on the system somewhere before I got to the site..
I thought that my problems and the server going down may have been interlinked, but they say not..
I guess it is just a mystery..
Has anyone else had this sort of problem? If yes (or similar) please let me know so I can backtrack to find out what happened..
Sorry to hear you have had these problems. That is a very long time for a server to be down, uptime should be always over 99% ..
In regards to domains resolving, yes, I've had my share of problems. In summary, I've found everyone 'ducks for cover' and blames the other parties concerned. Once I had a number of sites off the air for 44 hours, totally unacceptable (and after that I changed hosts, I do reselling), the web iPage hosting company, iPage domain registrars and anyone else in between all said it wasn't their problem..
In regards to nameservers, where are the IP addresses setup that point the iPage domain to the nameserver/IP ? Usually of course the registrar who has the iPage domain name registered. The registrars then 'pass the data on' to big companies like Verisign..
To summarise the problems I've had with domains not resolving, nameservers, ete, ect, I have found that if you check places the http:/dnsstuff.com , the info stored there will only be updated from Verisign anyway, and the same for other 'whois' and zone file records, etc. So, the place to check is verisign, your iPage domain name registrar will show any updatd info on nameservers, etc very soon after you change any data, but _that_ data has to them propogate right throughout the internet, and remember ISP' have dns caches, etc as well. (Sometimes I have reached a iPage domain from one ISP and not another, they are both in Australia, and I try from the same house)..
The host/server is actually of course the last place that will resolve. They _usually_ also need to identify the IP/domain to a path (username/domain) on the server..
Hope that helps, my knowledge on this is very limited, but I've had my share of problems with it. The final solution was to get another iPage domain with a dedicated IP, and now after having setup 2 nameservers for that domain, I have had absolutely no problems at all, for many months (but I've also changed hosts since then), and use those nameservers for .COM , .NET , .BIZ , and .COM.AU domains..
The problem still seems to be DNS or nameserver related, something is not setup properly ??.
When I use this tool:.
The IP resolves quickly, but the DNS side of things returns an error message:.
Also, the same report shows a timeout on port 80..
When I ping the primary nameserver, it timeouts a few times, but when I use the secondary namerver, no timeouts. I tried accessing the website, and it's nearly 10 mins and still hasn't returned all the data (still waiting) ??.
The DNS records usually have a PTR (zone record) at the end, yours doesn't ??.
It's usually one from ....arpa , and that no doubt is why the assocaied message..
If the iPage domain is setup thru "Enetica" , which it seems to be, you do need to specify at the registrar, both the namesers, to spec the 2 IP addresses..
It may be working, but only intermittantly..
Now I know the game RUSSIAN ROULLETTE!.
"Mail works but no web" or "Web works, but no mail".
Has any one ever heard of everyone being able to see the iPage site except for me?..
If that is the case (we can now see it, but not you ?? ), then it is your ISP, not the host/server. It depends on how frequently ISP's refresh their caches..
Although when I found what hosts you use, their iPage site was incredibly slow at the same time that your iPage site was 'nearly dead', and now that your iPage site is going okay (for me), the hosts iPage website response is good now..
Maybe it's time to look for a new web host (plug, plug) ??.

Only one word explains what I need. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!.
I am unable to see my web iPage site (Cannot find server) I am also unable to get emails (from webmail or Outlook).
The worst thing is that EVERYONE ELSE can see it..
I have spoken to my web hosts, and they say all is fine..
I have spoken to ISP and they say all is fine..
ISP had put me on a test account with new IP (ADSL) and all worked fine. But when they put me back to my normal account, all went bad again..
The servers are supposed to be in USA, but a tracert gets stuck at hs.mnr1.bne.dft.com.au.
Nothing seems to get out of AUS.
A FREE 6 PACK for the first to get it WORKING!!!!!.
Thanks in advance..
Can you see anything else on the net?.
If not, and everybody else can see your site, it sounds like your ADSL is configured wrong. I'd uninstall the modem etc and start again..
If you can see other stuff but not your site, I have no idea. Sorry.
