If it is stock completely then I would imagine something in configure.php is wrong...I honestly couldnt help much more than that without more info..

I am having the same problem. I found a post that is having a similar problem in the iPage site going from secured pages to unescured pages when using shared ssl. I have not foung a fix yet and really need one. Any help would be greatly appricated. Any solutions at all..
If you dont have a ssl certificate installed, in both catalog and admin/includes/configure.php change this:.
Define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?.
Define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?.
I try it. But it gives me the following:.
Verify that the file or folder exists and that you have the necessary permissions on the server to perform the requested operation.
I dont know how stupid my qwestion is but how do you edit the file..
Define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?..

Download the file to your computer open it with notepad or a php editor make the changes and upload back to your server.
