Question I have... What is the best iPage web hosting site? Hoping for any answer or 2. Second question.. I have a newsletter sign up on my website. I can't get the html editor to work correctly so I'm going to send the newsletter from another program..

I need to know how to get each person's email address who has signed up for my newsletter out of os commerce so I can use in a csv file..

Will someone tell me how to do this..

I also want to add a new sign up for newsletter link and sign up page. I want to use an outside service to keep the database and send the newsletters from. Where is the link on the index page to change it and also where is the sign up page for the newsletter...

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you help..

I first created the newsletter in Dreamweaver. I pasted the html code into the newsletter section but I can't get it to line up right..

I tried changing the newsletter.php.

// MaxiDVD Added Line For WYSIWYG HTML Area: EOF (Send TEXT Newsletter v1.7 when WYSIWYG Disabled).

If (HTML_AREA_WYSIWYG_DISABLE_NEWSLETTER == 'Disable') {.

$mimemessage->add_text($this->content);.

} else {.

$mimemessage->add_html($this->content);.

// MaxiDVD Added Line For WYSIWYG HTML Area: EOF (Send HTML Newsletter v1.7 when WYSIWYG Enabled).

}.

But now, I all see is broken images and the actual html code. I think I've royally screwed it up and can't figure it out so I was going to try it a different way, using.

Http://www.intellicontact.com.

Or just sending it from Outlook..

I have a newsletter with dated materials and I've been trying to make it work all week. Just frustrated..

Now what do I do?..

I've had a similar (frustrating) experience with the newsletter module. Sketched my newsletter in Frontpage and copy/pasted the table into the newsletter HTMLarea, but it's adding extra line breaks after all paragraph tags, creating gaping spaces between rows and generally making the newsletter unusable..

I finally gave up (for the time being) and used Group Mail Free (infacta.com) to send out the first newsletter. Not an ideal situation, since part of the reason for using the osCommerce newsletter module was to enjoy the benefits of automation of this process..

Anyone have any hints about the extra line breaks? My guess is that there's something up with my HTMLarea installation, but I haven't been able to find the glitch...

If I can just change the subscribe to and unscribe to to the.

Http://www.intellicontact.com.

Database and use their sign up, that would work from now on. Can you tell me where I can change those?.

And if I can get the email addys from the oscommerce database, I'll add them there and not use the oscommerce one on my site..

I don't have mysql and not really a programmer!..

In my two hour search on this forum last night, I came across that thread. I don't have admin/configuration/email settings.

I use an html enter page and then go into my store. I can't find the configuration folder anywhere..

I have given up on using the newsletter section in oscommerce. I just want to change the subscribe link and unscribe link to.

Http://www.intellicontact.com.

And use their sign up form. Now I can't find where to do that..

Sorry I'm such a duda...this is really getting to me now...

Why not create the newsletter in another program, then cut and paste into your newsletter box, and then send from there?.

Else you will need to use mysql odbc (available from mysql.com) and then download your info you require...
