Good question... I dunno what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can answer it..
Easypopulate does not work properly and is very limited, also it has a tendencie to freeze. Its not easy to populate using this mod besides it was created to add muliple attributes.
Buy "article" you mean products?.
How close is your Table to that of OSC's??.
You can write a php comversion script most of the time easly if you know php..
Sorry, I'm french , yes I meant products and not articles ....
I'm just starting creating my iPage website and got no experience in PHP besides working with Dreamweaver...
In what form is your database.
Well, I've done it with PHPMy Admin so it's a SQL database I think.....
Try Navicat, I posted this along time ago, you can import directly from any format you wish. I used it until I had a script made specifically for me. I used Navicat to import directly from excel all 15,000 plus skus we had, took me about an hour. I spent well over that amount reading through posts trying to figure out why ep wasnt working for me, never did get it fixed..

Can you explain a bit more what navicat does exactly? I have an offline mirror of oscom and want it to sync with the online and vice versa is this something that would do that?.
Easy populate works well and does not freeze, thus it has to be a configuration issue you have. the support thread is here:.
I use it all the time for various sites (daily use) and since I control some of the servers directly, as they are dedicated, I am not limited to the 300 item limit. have imported up to 2000 items at a time..
For you to see if navicat will do what you want it to, click on the link that was posted for it. you can get a 30 day evaluation version..

No not at all, it's just for reporting, running queries and the like. The best feature of it is the use of graphical representation of t ables... if your familiar with access databases then you'll be familiar with this interface. It allows you to import directly from Paradox, DBase, Text, HTML, Excel, Lotus, Quattro, XML, Access and ODBC without having to mess with the file to begin. Straight up raw, easy as hell conversion of data into a mysql table. With scripts like easypopulate you need to define the colums to tables, need to end the entry, need to piss around with this and that.
From there you tell it where the columns in your source should land in the table. Also giving you the chance to preview before you finalize. Many of us rely on db files that usually come in de-limited txt from suppliers. Its so easy to import with this you'd kick yourself if you never tried it or something like it before. Reason I'm pitchin it is I pissed around with many different ways to import mass amounts of products before took me forever to figure out a "proper" way of doing it..
I've created a database with PHPMyAdmin and discovered your brilliant tool OSCommerce afterwards. How can I integrate the 900 article already in my database without entering them one by one again ???.
Thanks a lot for your help !!!..
