First question I have is What is the least expensive iPage web hosting? Thanks for any comment. Another question on my mind: I have some advertisement flash banners that I would like to put in either the 'What's New' box on the left or create a new box entirely. I know it's possible to do this but can someone point me in the right direction in accomplishing this? Contrib, code, link etc.?.

Thank you much..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can answer it..

Hey man, I feel your pain, I spent hours trying to find an answer but I figured it out finally! I would make a new box, and there are plenty of threads on here to tell you how to do that. To put the flash file in a box, go and check out the code for that box, located at /includes/boxes/SOMEBOX.php now it's gonna say something like this:.

<?php.

   $info_box_contents = array();.

   $info_box_contents[] = array('text' => BOX_HEADING_VIDEOS);.

   new infoBoxHeading($info_box_contents, false, false);.

   $info_box_contents = array();.

   $info_box_contents[] = array('align' => 'left',.

                                'text' => BOX_CONTENTS_VIDEOS);.

   new infoBox($info_box_contents);.

?>.

The first part defines what it says in the bar at the top of the box (HEADING) and the second part defines what is in the box..

The part where it says BOX_CONTENTS_VIDEOS, is what you're concerned with(though it will be something like BOX_CONTENTS_YOURBOX. I made a box called videos, and what is contained in that box is defined by BOX_CONTENTS_VIDEOS. Yours is probably like BOX_CONTENTS_WHATS_NEW or something. You will have to edit the contents of this variable, defined in /includes/languages/english.php.

Go to that file, and look for this:.

Define('BOX_HEADING_VIDEOS' , '');.

Define('BOX_CONTENTS_VIDEOS' , 'blah blah').

Where VIDEOS is replaced with whatever box you setup..

Now you put in your flash file where it says 'blah blah' like this:.

Define('BOX_HEADING_VIDEOS' , '');.

Define('BOX_CONTENTS_VIDEOS' , '<center><object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,29,0" width="100%" height="390">.

 <param name="movie" value="http://www.hawaiianx.com/flash/videos.swf">.

 <param name="quality" value="high"><param name="SCALE" value="exactfit">.

 <embed src="http://www.hawaiianx.com/flash/videos.swf" width="100%" height="390" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" scale="exactfit"></embed>.

</object></center>');.

It must be in this format, just change the appropriate values..

Hope this helps, keep at it!..

I did find this post after doing a search but I wasn't sure where to put it, what to replace etc..

<?php echo '<embed src="http://your_server/images/flash/liveauction.swf" loop=false pluginspage=http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash type=\'application/x-shockwave- flash\' width="250" height="150"></embed>';.
