Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I bump into an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can answer it..
It is protected. I had a username and password. I tried to change it and was immediately asked to log back into the iPage site but when I attempt to log -in with the previous password or the new one I am rejected...
How is it protected?.
Is it htaccess or something else?..
I don't know. I don't know very much about the program or how it is/was set up. I was able to change over the rest of our web iPage site because it was hosted by a server and they had all of the passwords stored and were able to confirm that I am an owner of the company etc. But I have no experience with this type of program that community based..
How would I know if it is htaccess?..
This is the URL to our back end this is how I always entered the iPage site and then made whatever small changes/adjustments needed to be made (prices/sku/adding items etc)..
This is the URL to our front end..
I've recently inherited an OS Commerce store. The person who set it up has left the company and I am having trouble with the password and accessibility. In the past I would go to a web iPage site [.
[/url] and type in a given username and password to access the account. But now the username and password are not working. Is there any way to access our store now that the person who created it has left? I've had to create a new username and password to post this question on the forum..
This is the error message I receive when I try to access the account:.
This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required..
What steps if any can be taken to get us back up and running?.
