I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an anything. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..
I wish!!! I still havent gone and it's been 2 1/2 weeks!!! My Doc says "It happens"....wierd. lol..
I am 8 days post op gastric bypass. I have had both problems. But both have resolved on there on. Be sure to count your fluids. Ounce per Ounce it matters to stay hydraded...
Here was my progression.... 3 days of hershey squirts followed by three days of nothing at all followed by 5 days of small but normal followed by 3 days of constipation... GO FIGURE!!!! Unless you feel it's excessive or goes on for too long like Cindy said, i'd just keep sippin and grinnin... and put a magazine in your bathroom. :-)..
Certainly check with your doc but I've always been under the impression that if one has diarrhea then they should try to keep up with the fluid intake to replenish what has been lost....
I seem to ALWAYS have the opposite issue and am hoping that it will change once I'm able to tolerate dark leafy greens (spinach) and fruit :).
You feel better!.
I have these problems also and go from one extreme to the other and then normal for a couple of day I just try to make sure I am drinking enough...
I've finally hit a happy medium. But, if I go for more than two days with no ":movement" I feel miserable, When it comes it COMES..
Is anyone else having the pale colored poop? TMI Yes, it is...
Aside: Kara, 2.5 weeks is a long time not to go. Just a bit worried about you - but you seem to have it under control..
A.k.a. Enema of the People..
@Obonke, too funny.
I finally gave in and am taking.
2x daily without fail. My system LOVES it..
PS - dont let the constipation go on and on. It did a number on me big time. I had to have.
To repair a rectocele b/c after time I could not push out the stool and it would just ball up in my rectum. It was HORRIBLE and I never want to go through that again. Sorry if this is TMI, but it is a part of the process...
