Enter your email address below and we'll send you the latest coupon codes to save on Medifast every month. We'll even give a lucky person a month supply of free food.

Quick question... What was your experience with the Medifast Diet? Looking forward for any answer or 2. Another question on my mind: Medifast is a wonderful program with many different types of support and a fabulous community. We understand that everyone is an adult and this is not a "mean" group. For some of us, we thrive on this program if we have a place where we are held accountable, where we commit to the program 100% and where we have a place to chat with others who feel the same..

What we believe:.

1. Cheating on Medifast is NOT a strategy to get us out of our fat suits.

2. The only way for us to learn about our problems with food is to take the word "choice" out of the equation when it comes to Medifast. Our only "choice" is 5 packets and 1 weighed and measured lean and green a day.

3. We look to those who have been successful with this strategy to continuously remind us about why this way, for us, is the way to go.

4. We believe that, even though we are completely committed, knowing that we have a group that holds us accountable for our actions is both useful and important.

We commit to:.

1. Remove the word "choice" from our vocabularies.

2. Follow the Medifast plan as written, including transition and maintenance.

3. Tell our "inner brat" to shut the H-E-** up and quiet him or her through abstenance from off plan foods.

4. Give and receive tough love without complaining or calling each other "mean".

5. Cheerlead fellow group members as they follow the path to thinness.

6. Make Medifast the LAST diet we ever go on.

7. Check in with the group as often as our schedule reasonably allows.

Getting the banner:.

1. Copy the following text using your favorite method:.

[IMG*]http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/ab74/pennosh/ToughLove.jpg[/IMG*].

2. Click on the "Edit Profile/Settings" link at the top of this page.

3. Click on the "Edit Signature" link on the left of the page.

4. Place your cursor in the "Edit Signature" area (looks like a mini version of Microsoft Word) and paste the text you copied using your favorite method.

5. Remove the two asterisks (*) from the text you just pasted.

6. Click "preview signature". You should now see the banner in the Preview area (above where you are editing)!!!.

7. Click the "Save Signature" button. If you do not, all this will have been for naught! So make SURE you save this after you are all set!.

Anyone is welcome to join, and if folks have additional ideas on how we can commit, I am happy to hear them!..

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could give you an answer..

Well good morning! You beat me to it, but just barely..

Happy day! I'm in an emergency workout all day for a project which the has been badly planned and designed from the beginning. Fortunately, none of the issues are =my= issues......

Good morning all!.

Enjoy Steph. I get to do a lot of that kind of thing every day..

No chopped tofu...

Morning, kids! Putting the fires out, Steph. That's what we do best, huh? Saving the world, one incompetent @$$ at a time....

I'll be covering for a coworker for a couple hours today, so I won't have any internet access besides my Droid and it's hard to post from there. Hopefully after my eye exam tomorrow, I'll have a remedy for that. I mean, I have my laptop screen at 125% just so I'm not cross-eyed and I have a 17" screen!.

Jan, I charged up my bluetooth yesterday and when I went to dial you from the road, lo and behold, it had un-paired from my phone because it had been so long since I used it! That's something I can't do while I'm driving! So I am going to give you a call today after I get out!.

Tonight's dinner: not sure yet. I have some bison left, also shrimp, chicken that needs to get cooked or frozen... the opportunities are endless!.

Time to go get the little one on the bus and get ready to kick off one last three-day weekend! See you all at the office!..

Morning all-going to work half day then three day weekend.

Off to get ready. Have a great day. I will peek in later and see what's up.

Have fun Steph.....I do alot of clean up too....Oh well...

Good morning, TLvrs. Woo to the hootie hoo we made it to Friday!! And I have a three day weekend coming up. Life is good..

Good job on yesterday's threads, peeps. Haven't had fun like that in a looonnnggg time. It got absurd and goofy. You guys rock..

Have a great OP day, y'all...

Morning TL peeps..

Very glad it's Friday. Been one heck of a week at work. Woke up with a humongous headache and am now waiting for a) the caffeine to kick in, b) the excedrin to work, and c) the day to be OVAH! Yes it's only 7 am here, but I can hope, can't I?.

Pretty sure the headache is a result of my having to NOT kill my granddaughter's mother last night. Self control can wreak HAVOC on one's body! It would be justifiable homicide, but still frowned upon. Oh well..

Waving to everyone. Got fires of my own to put out today. Ugh!.

Bbl...

Good morning everyone! I'm caught up with my reading of yesterday's thread and am needing to scurry (why does that make me think of a fat mouse after some cheese? - Oh because I've been enjoying some shredded cheese on my baked chicken salad and my weight is coming off so slow....and I read about cheese, sodium, etcLOL, so even though I weigh, measure and journal everything that passes these lips - I'm cutting out that lovely, wonderful cheese because I don't want to stay a chubby mouse any longer)..

Where in the world does that stuff come from. Now you know how warped my brain cells are... Not good.....not good at all..

Hello to allhave a great day! I'm off to spend my day chasing little ones (grandchildren)..

(Hi Steph!!!)..

Morning ladies. Sleepy eyes here. I was up until about 0130 not just reading for my new class that starts next week, but organizing all the notes and articles for it into tidy files on my computer. It actually took a fair bit of time due to the way the course website is set up. Ah, well, I am determined to start this semester off better than the last (when I got married the Sunday after classes started and got waaaaay behind)..

If we hadn't gotten a wild hair and eloped in September, today would have been my wedding day. Instead, it's just Friday! DH has left for work, and I've checked us in online for our flight to Vegas tomorrow for our belated honeymoon..

Still feeling a huge sense of relief when the day ends and I've gone to bed and I haven't gone off plan. Also, I'm still in that stage where I look forward to getting up in the morning (for a minute) so I can step on the scale and see what the new progress is!..

Morning, Nurse Ratchet! I mean Nurse Rachel! Isn't that feeling just the best?..

Happy Friday TLers!.

I actually made it to the thread before noon. Woot woot!.

Ya know, it's really weird - I was reading some other threads yesterday and people really DO talk about us. I think they get the whole concept backwards though. "Tough Love" actually includes the word LOVE. If I wanted to start a "Tough A-hole" thread, I would have just called it that. Maybe I'm just being sensitive today...sniff..

Morning Everyone!.

TGIF!!.

I have to say the post on Medifast Connection and the posts in here are hysterical! I haven't had time to post, but I have been lurking and smirking!! Ya'll are nuts... I will fit in perfectly..

Made it through our BCS party with lots and lots of calorie and fat-ridden snacks with no cheats! I was extremely proud of myself.... however, the results of the game wanted me to rip the faces off anyone who came within 10 feet of me. Not a good day to be PMSing either. BACK AWAY... BACK AWAY SLOWLY... BEOTCH IN SESSION!!.

Off to work.... with my cheez whiz, pretzels and tequila!..

Had a great date night last night (unexpected) We did Applebee's. Safe and comfortable. They overcooked my steak though. But the company made up for it...

Em - Oh, yes, they do talk. Unfortunately they seem to be unable to show the same self restraint that we feel we need to, so since it is ABSOLUTELY against board rules, especialy some of the posts on pone particular thread, feel free to open a ticket and report the misconduct!.

We could always take a page out of their book and go to their thread and say hi! In a very supportive, non-judgmental way of course, cause that's how we roll... <wink>..

Okay, everybody: Awwwwwwwwwww.....................

That's so cute, Lynne! I love unexpected date nights - haven't had many of those with a seven year old! Our next date night is two weeks from tomorrow. Not sure where we're going. We usually go to a great "special-occasion" restaurant, but unless I'm not feeling tempt-able, we'll stick with sushi or Applebee's!.

Applebee's is definitely safe & comfy. We have a good one nearby that we go to about once a week. I have two dishes that I toggle between and it keeps me in control...

Care to share, Penny? I don't think I've been to Applebees since I started MF...

I've been on a date night exactly twice in the last year. What exactly is an Applebees?..

I haven't been on a date night since 2 years after I was married. And he wonders why I asked for a divorce..

Applebees is safe! I usually get the steak, dry, too...

Rachel just in case I don't get back in here, I hope you and DH have the time of your lives in your trip and come back safe to us!..

Have a great time, Rachel. And, if you hit the big bucks, remember us little people, OK?..

Yeah, right MG! She'll probably spend it all on Cheez Whiz!..

Ditto.

I do the steak at Applebees dry with double veggies and a side salad...

Thanks Penny-our kids are adults now so it finally time for regular date night. Loving trying new things now instead of hiding at home........

We have a special occasion place too that we usually do a couple times a year. I know that is where he is wanting to go on Valentine's but depending on what the ticker says and how I tempt-able (like the word btw) I am feeling...

I really don't understand the haters either. I have been on and off Medifast for a couple of years, and on the boards about the same time. I can honestly say that this is one of the best groups I've been a part of! Underneath the tough love is a true sense of concern for all of us to stay on plan and find success. So forget the haters, we have an awesome group here!! Okay, done with the warm and fuzzies....

Rachel - Have a great time in Vegas! One of my favorite vacation spots!.

Enjoying my day off. Got to the gym this morning, now about to run out and get some errands done. Will check in later..

Ya'll have a great day!..

Hi ladies! I was MIA yesterday, but trying to get back and catch up today..

Yesterday I found out I am going to get a standing work station as opposed to my sit down desk I have now. I am so super stoked about this!!! I am an admin and rarely take lunch, so spend 8-10 hours every day sitting at my desk. My stand up desk will have a tall ergonomic stool that I can use when I don't want to stand..

I can't even imagine how many more calories I'm going to burn now...

Rachel, I get the 7 oz sirloin with broccoli or Dijon chicken and portobellos with no cheese and no potatoes. Again just broccoli ... sorry. My phone hates this when it's nearly dead!..

Totally jealous!.

Did I mention the high here is 72 today?..

And did I mention that you can just BITE ME...

Well. THAT wasn't very nice! Hmphf! I guess I'll have to report you for being a big mean bully!..

I've gotta head out, kids. I barely made it back to my desk, got my stuff caught up, and now I gotta fly to the supermarket! Now where did I put that cape?.

See you Tuff Luvvers later!..

Well well well...I'm suprised more people aren't here "playing"...it's Friday folks!!!.

Did you guys see all the nonsense about changing astrological signs? Sheesh!..

No, been werking today. You can change astrological signs? HTH would one do that?..

We don't get to do that. The sun did it for us from what I gather...

LOL....The sun rotates so do our signs according to some geek guy online...

Whatever. hehe. I am a Leo, have always been a Leo, ALWAYS will be a Leo. Double dog dare someone to tell me otherwise! ROFL Did the sun create a new Geek sign? Just curious what the symbol for THAT one would be <snicker>..

I would never argue with you De! I'm not a fan of SMACKS!!..

Hey all. Unsure if this is the first time I have checked in today or not? I visited this morning, but don't remember if I posted or not. Geez, my memory sorta sucks sometimes!.

I had a meeting this morning and then went to the gym. I am getting ready to deliver some of my art work to this gallery in a little while. I am trying to work on my syllabi for classes that begin on Tuesday. I cant believe I am still not ready. I am really pushing it this semester. I need to get my azz in gear I think!.

How you are all having a fine day. I haven't really read through any posts except this morning so I am probably missing out on some exciting stuff! I will check in later when I feel like I have done more that I need to do. I am going to work on the syllabi now, darn it!..

Sure you are Em. That's why you wuv me. Seriously though, my mom used to laugh whenever she would read the description of a Leo and say "just insert "Deanne"" here.... There is absolutely NO touch of Cancer or Virgo in this beyotch! LOL.

Hi Marilees. What kind of artwork if I may ask?..

This is awesome! I have a two level desk, one for sit and one for standing. I love it. Enjoy!!!..

Marilees, my DD2 is studying art and art history at Temple U with the hope of teaching someday. Kinda like you. So get to work on those syllabi, ok?..

Hi all,.

Can't believe how much I've been sleeping since starting Medifast I'm guessing it's my body adjusting to lower carbs and cals. To Everyone putting out fires today good luck. Rachel I hope you and your DH take the casino's for everything on your honeymoon. Lynne glad your date night went well, and now I know Applebees is safe while doing MF..

Happy Friday to all!.

Audrey..

Thanks for the good luck everybody! I just got off the phone with DH to discuss how much cash I should go pull before the bank closes..

He did win a bit at blackjack the last time he was there, and he was satisfied with my blackjack skills when we practiced... we'll just SEE about that!.

One of my biggest concerns, though, is eatingI've never successfully stayed OP while traveling (but I've never been so determined). Our last three days are not too worrisome because I know we'll be able to find something that will work for me. Our first day, though, we land at 11 a.m., and then we have a show at 3 at Harrah's and another show at 8 at Mandalay Bay. I'm just hoping there's enough time to find a decent dinner for me in the midst of all that activity...

Ugh, at a stand still on the syllabi until I get some dates from an artist who is going to visit my class and I have to leave in like 10 minutes to make my art delivery..

De- My work is mainly printmaking. Its an old school art form most people do not understand these days. Everyone is in a hurry and printmaking is very SLOW!! The reason I love it, I guess. Now a days we all think digital, well, no, I print by hand. Students often look at me like I am nuts when I show them the process and tell them they have to do that for each print! I get a kick out of it, I guess..

MaryGrace- Thats great! Temple is a good school! Its only a couple hours from here. I had a student recently transfer there and then back because it cost too much. I was there a few months ago for a conference. They have nice facilities! What is her area? Is she an undergrad? or Grad? it's great that you are supporting her studies. I know my parents where pretty anti my art education!.

Alright, I need to get my work to the gallery! Be back later...

Sounds pretty cool Marilees!.

Rachel - Can you eat your L&G for breakfast and then just to Medifast portable stuff for the rest of the evening? No excuses about cheating. Just cause it's your honeymoon, doesn't mean it's ok. <wink> I'm pretty sure that you'll be able to make this work. Heck, if I could go on a cruise and not only stay OP, but lose 3 lbs, YOU can definitely do Vegas. It helps to remember that we have eyes EVERYWHERE.......

Busy day at the orifice for me today. I've been able to read, but no time to post. Getting ready to shut down & head home. The stand-up workstation sounds like da bomb! I've spent half the day packing up my cubicle and moving the contents one row over. It's my former cube...the current occupant is a part-timer; retired contractor. I packed his desk, too - all of 1 box top containing several soda bottles, a pad of paper, the holiday schedule for 2011 and our emergency procedures handbook.

Ahhh, the care-free life of a retiree working for fun. Friday's my go-home-early day, so I'm gonna scoot before someone comes along with a fire to put out or a pressing problem. I'll check back in from home..

Rachel - have a.

***FABULOUS***.

Time!!.

TGIF!!!!..

Yes, De, that's what I've considereddoing L&G for breakfast right before we head out. Of course, I intend to stay 100% the whole time! I would just hate to have DH want to do something for dinner, have us have plenty of time and find something I can do, and me say... "Oh, well, I already ate my real food today.".

I think it should be okay, though. The Mac King show is at 1 AND 3, which means it can't be longer than 2 hours tops, which would allow us at least 3 hours in between shows for food..

I've been cooking through my freezer stores all weekI'm looking forward to eating someone else's cooking for the next few days!..

Hey everybody!.

So, it's 12lbs. down in 8 days, and that lil "brat" is trying to break out of my head, I think I will clean my house to make her shut up! LOL Just wanted to say that I haven't seen anything mean on here yet, I guess my skin is a little thinker than other people, just like the rest of me. Good luck in Vegas Rachel, I'm planning my honeymoon right now, so let me know how yours goes there, that may be a good idea. Penny- I had NO idea we could have sushi, what kind doesn't have rice? I'll check back later, a shake is calling my name!..

IM HOME!!!!!!!!!.

No offense to any of you who might live in Atlanta, but I am so glad to be outta there..

What a terrible mess..

But at least we were warm and safe in our hotel..

Thank goodness for MF. While folks were complaining about the food running out and the restaurants being closed and all, I just kept stirring up another Cappa in my Starbucks and moved on..

Hot water from the coffee maker worked great for oatmeal.

(sorry De.

) and the soups as well as Hot Cocoa..

DH reminded me that the last time anyone told me not do anything for an extended length of time, I was in a hospital. So, I just decided to look at this past week as a gift, and just spread my Happy Little Self all over the hotel..

Kerrigan.

- Have a wonderful trip and just work around the L&G each day. Somedays you can split it up, other days just move it from Breakfast, to Lunch, or Dinner. Whatever. In the end, if you just move stuff around on your plate, most people won't even notice, and think you ate. HA! People!.

YiaYia.

- I am glad to see you over here..

Marilee.

- Sounds like you love your job and the art is really old school. Someday we must have a ToughLove premire showing and serve all OnPlan foods for the event..

Em.

- don't let the negative haters get you down. Some people are just not happy unless they are complaining. As granny always says, don't put their baggage into your little red wagon and carry it around for them. It is THEIR baggage..

Audrey.

- Yep the adjustment to the Plan hits everyone differently. Some folks are tired, others have energy, and some people get SMACK HAPPY..

(Ducking for cover in case De sees this).

MT Cup.

I don't think I've ever seen a two level desk, but it sounds interesting..

Christomeg.

- I did not hear of the change of the astrologicial signs either. At my age I'm going to stay a Scorpio, and as.

De.

Says, they can just BITE ME! Which by the way the video was hilarious.

Penny!.

MaryGrace.

- I wuvs you!.

Okey Dokey well, I best get my happy little self off the computer and let out the pup. She has been snoring under my desk. I think she is glad to be home, too. Vet said they had to hand feed her the last 2 days as she gave up eating when she really missed me. She loves going to my friend to board her, but they are on a months cruise in the Meddit. so I used my Vet.

Thanks for the prayers and shout outs whilst I was away...

I have to say that OnPlan Tough Lovers have cleaner homes than cheaters..

Bwhahahaaaa!.

Seriously that was an old joke from the early days of MFin here...

Yep Chatty - We de-disgustify regularly!.

Rachel - Don't rule out a 4&2 while you're on vacation, especially if you think you might be getting in more exercise than normal. <wink wink> That's what I did on the cruise at NS' suggestion...

YesI am reserving the option. In previous incarnations of MF, I've done 4&2 on work days occasionally. (12+ hour shift, burning as much as 3000+ calories according to my GoWear Fit!). I already have enough Maintenance Snickers (.

) bars for one a day packedif that's not enough, 4&2 it is...

Ha! My house is really pretty shockingly clean! I have all this extra energy from being so damned skinny and I'm no good at sitting down to watch TV anymore. *sigh*.

De a Leo? No!.

Also, hello! I missed the De thread. And then I missed De, not having seen her over on the MC board today. And then I found her here - and all the rest of the fun peeps from the De thread! So ya know, this kinda seems like a better place to be..

I went dancing last night, after work and school. Got home after 1. Back up this morning for work, then I have a law review board meeting from 6-8, then a boy is picking me up at the meeting to take me to dinner and dancing. So I'm at work in date night clothes, which is just silly, but I did not have the strength this morning to figure out costume changes. I'm going to need to caffeinate to make it through my evening, for sure....

Can't wait to find out where he's taking me to dinner. Now that I've managed to get Chinese and Thai places to cook me OP food, I feel kind of invincible with restaurants. Something grilled + something steamed, please. No sauce...

I'm a fan of 4&2! I stuck with 5&1 for 6 months, with just a couple exceptions, but I've been back to 4&2 for a couple weeks. And I thermoregulate again!!!!!..

YOU'RE HERE!!!!! Wheeee!! This makes me unreasonably happywe've been waiting for you to come to the dark side!..

Oh Boy.

Freya.

You found us!.

Woo Hooo. I love your new avi AND your new beau sounds cool. Thermoregulate, tee hee.

Oh and I was gonna tell.

Nurse Rachet.

To do 4&2 too, if that helps...

Oh yay, hugs and squeezles to Chatty and Nurse Ratchet!!! I do like the dark side, I do..

In fact, this boy is a mortician. How cool is that????..

I find that to be freaking awesome. Others may disagree. I, however, agree completely. With me...

Rachel- I hope you have a lot of fun on the trip!!! I wonder if it isnt a good idea for you to eat the l and g for breakfast on that first day and if you find time to eat dinner and a place to do so that is OP to simply do the 4/2 that day? Then, if you do not, it's not a big deal, you will have some portable Medifast food to eat instead and you will just do the 5/1 instead. That way there is no chance of the situation getting the best of you..

I tend to be a big planner. So, I would do this route to make absolutly sure that I stayed 100% no matter what happened. But that is just me..

Chatty- I am glad to hear that you made it home okay! I was worried about you. I am sure that little pup is very happy to see you! Poor little thing. My guys are so spoiled, they wouldnt be caught dead staying in a kennel. They have to stay home and have someone come to them! But they would enjoy being hand fed I am sure..

OP art opening? Yes, that would be nice. I normally dont even go near the food table at art openings these days. There is so little I am allowed to eat! I usually bring a bar along in case the event runs into my feeding times..

Freda- glad to see you here! Sounds like you have a busy day ahead of you!! Have fun tonight!..

A mortician? Perhaps you can act dead and he can do your makeup or something? Sounds Creepy to me. But could be interesting? I bet he can tell some crazy tales and perhaps some private dancing can take place in the funeral home? I bet none of your friends can say that! It may even be better than the mile high club? What would you call that anyway?..

Ooh, she's right. Dating a mortician could lead to some really freaky role playing games.....

Marilee you're crazy!!! OMG!.

No, there will be NO ROLE PLAY around this career. However, I do think it's hilarious and can't wait to hear his stories. He's also several other kinds of awesome. And it's also just a second date, and he's the... third one... in active rotation now...

I'm far to hot right now to settle down. I mean, seriously...

Oh this is just fun! And I like the term (active rotation) conjurs up all sorts of happy ideas..

Whatcha gonna wear?..

I had to dress for it this morning, so I'm clear on the outfit! A little black dress, black backseam hose worn with the seam in the front (it's apparently fashionable right now to reverse them), steampunkish ankle boots, and my new Michael Kors black leather jacket. Smoky eyes and dark red lips. Wheee!!!..

Yes, I am slightly twisted, I will admit it. Ha!.

Active rotation, nice. I like it. Have fun!!..

So you have to wear the panty hose backwards? who comes up with this stuff anyway? That sounds a little uncomfortable...

Wheeee indeed! You are gonna be Smokin' Hot and not just yer eyes, my friend..

Really, did not know about the backseam in the front thingy. Hmmmmm I think it might just send the hubs to the land of More Confused. bhwahhaaaa..

Well, then obviously 'twisting' the pantyhose around backwards, should be easy for you, huh?..

Nah, you can't even tell they're backwards once they're on. But the seam is in front and it looks really cool. I like it..

I need to have an active rotation! My favorite lives 2 hours away (shhhhh... don't tell him he's the favorite...). The 2nd one is in Sweden right now, and not the greatest about having tons of available time. So I need at LEAST one or two more. This one's promising, though. He seems attentive and complimentary...

Attentive is good, but complimentary is even better..

And shhhhhhh mums the word to the Favorite guy..

Does the Swede have an accent? I love guys with accents...

Sadly, he's not Swedish. He's there on a trip..

I do enjoy complimentary. Quite a bit..

Thanks for keeping mah secritz!..

Man, gone for 30 minutes to drive home and Freya shows up!! With a dancin date no less!.

I missed you too hon. Too quiet over on MC today. Same ole, same ole. Nothing that needed my "special" attention...

Well, I missed you. And stalked you here. Problem solved...

Good news, gals. The bidding on my 3 remaining soft serve packets is up to $1.29 (+$2 shipping). *laughs* I was glad to see the FIRST bid at $0.99because that means even if I.

Wanted.

To eat them, I can't!..

Rachel, I shoulda been so smart. Instead I decided I would eat down my Medifast food stores. I cancelled autoship and everything..

Go ahead. Ask me how much I am loving this 8-month old swiss mocha shake right now. I dare ya...

Bahaha! I did the same thing when I ordered the 4-week variety pack my first month. I only sent back the cappuccino, because that was the one thing I just truly couldn't swallow more than once. Otherwise, it was shakes for breakfast every. single. day. until they were gone! I was trying to do the same with the soft serve, but I got down to the last 4 and just couldn't do it any longer, thanks to the texture...

Not that it's an issue for you anymore, but I found if I mixed them half and half with a shake packet and made with 2C of water and lots of ice, they were fine...

Well carp. Let a hater suck me in. Better stay away before I say something that will actually get me in trouble...

Happy Friday all..

Marilees, hope you got your art delivered. I am also in PA. What city is the gallery in?.

Tacipher, great job this week!.

Chatty, welcome home! I'm glad you got back safely. I one of those 100% ers that has a very clean home. Every time I went "shopping" for food when it wasn't time to eat, I forced myself to do a chore. The first few months my home was spotless!..

Freya, have fun with #3. The thought of having 3 is a rotation sounds like lots of fun!..

Tacipher, I still have a lot of catcihng up to do, but I wanted to answer your question... sashimi is what I get at the sushi restaurant. It's simply thin slices of uncooked fish! Alongside some raw veggies with some soy sauce and wasabi - you've got a nice L&G!..

I quickly read this as mixing with half and half, and I think I just had a flashback...

Long week. Long day, glad it's all over. Hubs has the weekend off so it's looking like we're going on a road trip tomorrow. WOOT!.

G'night De!.

Thanks for ALL the well wishes for our trip. I just finished packing my bagDH just started..

I'll plan on a L&G for breakfast in the morning and allow myself a 4&2 while we're there, if I do as much walking as I think I will. Since my OP restaurant eating has consisted of exactly one meal, multiple times, at Chili's, I even put my guideline printouts in my purse for referenceI haven't had to look at them in months, but just in case..

I'm not bringing my computer, but I have a most excellent phone with 4G access, so I may yet check in while I'm gone. If not, happy weekend everyone!..

Have fun!!! I am sure you will do wonderfully eating out OP! Just ask a lot of questions about what you are getting. Sometimes they do not list all of the ingredients on the menu and you will be picking stuff out of your food and not very happy (has happened to me on a few occasions)..

De- have fun on the road trip!!! SOunds exciting!..

Barb- the important show will be a solo show at Millersville University in Millersville PA. It will open January 31 and I will be giving a artist talk at noon that day. The stuff I delivered today was not going to a "real" gallery but an abstract company in Bloomsburg. Its not a very good space, I realized when I delivered the stuff. I am showing my work there as sorta a favor to a friend. Both shows will be up until March, I believe. Where do you live?..
