I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could help you..
I've got a follow up question. Where do I remove the CAD from every price that is listed? I'd prefer to have it show just as is..
In the following section:.
Administration Tool -> Localization -> Currencies.
There you can define the left and right symbols a currency should have...
Of course, the one place that I didn't look... Actually, I did look, but didn't notice that left & right symbol thing.....
Thanks a lot!..
Slight problem I know get this when I try and veiw my site.
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in wwwroot\catalog\includes\languages\english.php on line 79.
You've deleted or added something you shouldn't have. It should look the way 241 posted it...
Ok no worries,.
You have used the online file manager to do your last edit..
There are known issues with using the online file manager in that it removes backslashes from the code resulting in parse errors..
Line #79 is normally.
Define('BOX_HEADING_WHATS_NEW', 'What\'s New?');.
Define('JS_ERROR', 'Errors have occured during the process of your form.\n\nPlease make the following corrections:\n\n');.
Define('JS_REVIEW_TEXT', '* The \'Review Text\' must have at least 'REVIEW_TEXT_MIN_LENGTH' characters.\n');.
Define('JS_REVIEW_RATING', '* You must rate the product for your review.\n');.
Define('JS_ERROR_NO_PAYMENT_MODULE_SELECTED', '* Please select a payment method for your order.\n');.
When editing the files it is better to download using an ftp program such as ws_ftp then edit the file offline and upload using ftp this stops the issue of the online file manager removing backslashes \.

Sorry my bad got mixed up.
This link was where I originated from.
Its diffucult keeping track now ive been working like ***** all week and my brain cant take much more..
Ok got you now..
First what is set as default currency in admin..
Second has this default currency got a value of 1.00000000 set against it.
If the default currency is GBP and you have set this in admin and also in catalog/includes/languages/english.php.
Are you using more than one currency.
Are you using more than one language.
If using multi language but one currency set in admin:.
Switch To Default Language Currency false.
Else if using multi currency and languages set in the admin:.
Switch To Default Language Currency true.

The default currency was set to STR already and 1.6 (approx) , so I changed it to GBP and 1.0 and all the prices went to zero. However when I tried STR and 1.0 it came out with the exact prices I put in,.
Hi, I want all prices to be listed in GBP not US $ I have added the currecny and set it as default. Yet when you visit the catalog all the prices are listed in US $ unless you use the drop down men to swap to pounds (). I don't want US $ at all I tried deleting it and then all prices showed 0.00..
In catalog/includes/languages/english.php change the line.
