That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you help..
Thanks for replying. I'm comparing the two files. I'm pretty sure my problem is the way I have these two files set up. We started off just having the iPage site on an ip address. When we got the secure iPage site certificate we had to have a domain. For the HTTP_SERVER & etc.
I'm very confused about this...
I have made changes to the two files. Now if I click on Catalog in the admin area, it goes to.
Which still doesn't work. Please help!!! Thanks..
I have the same problem.
The problem happens when the redirect function is called the iPage site stalls and doesn’t redirect. This problem doesn’t happen on all computers.... I don’t know the solution for this problem so if you or anyone come up with one please keep I posted...
I had to install a second shopping cart for another customer on a separate domain. It works fine. So, I compared all four configure files. I did have some errors in the admin/includes/configure.php and I fixed them, but still no luck. I desperately need to get this fixed. The iPage site is live and we've got lots of orders! I'm trying everything I can think of...
You have a wrong path in the configure.php as the address should have catalog in it thus.
I figured it out!!.
I noticed that it wasn't looking for the admin in the catalog folder, instead just www.domainname.com/admin/configuration.php?selected_box=configuration&gID=1.
On line 21 define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/catalog/admin/'); This is correct.
I had define('DIR_WS_ADMIN','/admin/'); which is why it wasn't looking in the catalog folder..
Just thought I would post this in case someone else has this problem also...
I have another problem to fix...
When I add a new product...click the preview button, I get an internal server error. What could be causing this?..
I have a very big problem with my shopping cart. The links in the admin section will not come up. Say, for example if I go to the index.php page in Admin then try to go to reports..it says this page cannot be displayed. The link that it tries to bring up is totally wrong. It is.
Would anyone know how to fix this or at least what files I should be looking at?..
Try comparing the TWO configure.php for differences..
The first one is for the store in catalog/includes/configure.php.
The second is for your admin pages in catalog/admin/includes/configure.php..
This assumes you installed in your home folder and the folder "catalog"..
