My question is Whats the best iPage web host to use for my website? Looking forward for any response. Another question on my mind: I have some pages to do and they need to be seen without scrolling side to side in 640 pixels and 1024 pixels. In 1024 the pictures and texts are smaller and in 640 the picture and text is are huge. I read that if you nest everything in a table that you can size it to fit both and look as if it was meant to be that size. Is there any other variable to consider...

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you an answer..

That is what you can do. Use JAVA detection and make the content as dynamic as possible if the table method will not suffice. It is more work, and since this iPage site is for a client I would code it for the clients resolution and not worry how it looks in other screen sizes. Save yourself the work!.

I think that you should explain to your client for future reference about updating to a better video card and/or monitor. I am pretty sure that only about 1% of the world is using a resolution less than 800 X 600 Pixels. Talk to them and let me know what they say...

Uhh...the client is the United States Navy (or at least some part of it)...

Thanks I will talk to them this week coming up and explain the need to upgrade their coomputers. I will also code it for their resolution now and put a background border that will give some sort of uniformity no matter what resolution viewed in. I will also use the resolution script to suffice as much as possible. That will save the headache of doing multiple pages for the same site...
