Got a question... What's the best way to block referrer spam from my iPage and Wordpress blog? Thanks for any response. Another question... I'm going through the steps to do a local install but .php files are being saved as Print Shop files??.

I've never changed any file extentions before and have no idea how to fix this...

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can help you..

I have no "open with" option when I right click. I looked in the file extensions under folder options and it says that .php files are opened with Broderbund Quick Prints Type.

What if I just delete that file type?..

Also the file icon is a Print Shop icon and if I click on it, Print Shop comes up and tries but can't open the file..

You need to 'associate' the php files with an application, so best bet is to right click on a file, go to properties, and about 1/2 inch from the top, will be the file name and next to it a button which says 'change' for opens with. choose the application that you want to use to open the files, and away you go ... I use dreamweaver.

Piece a cake...

Ok.. ACK!.

I can't change anything in the properties box..

I can right click the file and choose edit with "acehtml".

Is this assosiation with Print Shop going to mess with the install. I was going along fine till it came to the end of.

This page.

My test didn't work?.

"Run.

(The test).

Means in my browser, right??..

Yes, that means to test php in the browser, locally. as far as the other page, that is the mysql connector, which allows you to connect to a mysql databae, similar to phpmyadmin but in my opinion more powerful..

What is your operating system?..

Woo hoo!.

Got it all installed and working:D Now I've just got to figure out what all it does and how to do it:).

Guess the next step is to d/l OS eh?.

Many thanks to Mibble:D..

Are you sure they're actually saved as Print Shop files?.

If you right click a file, and "Open With" your editor...is there anything out of the ordinary with the code?..
