I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably know..

Mike, it is not clear to me what you want to do. Your iPage site is contained in a table that uses the align="center" attribute. So all your content is in a table 800px wide that is centered on the user's screen. The way you have it, there is no place for you to put content outside that table. And I'm not sure you would want to..

You could create a page background that would fill in the white areas - maybe that's what you want? What would you like to see there?.

Rotimi, your problem is an editing error in your index.php file at around line 13 - the problem could be on an earlier line. It is usually a quoting error in a string. Your problem is entirely different from Mike's...

What I want is to have a background image, sorry I was a bit unclear, I want to add a kind of faint dotted pattern so that the background isnt so harsh, a bit like they have.

I'm not clear on what background you want to change. But you can start by trying the following code. Place it in your body tag in the stylesheet.css file..

Background-image:   url(images/some_image.jpg);.

Maybe it will give some ideas..
