My question is Where can I find Medifast recipes that are really impressive? Looking forward for any answer or 2. Second question.. So here's the deal...I just had my one year anniversary on September 23rd and on that day I had surpassed my goal for one year but since then I seem to have hit a plateau. I know part of it is my own fault because I have had a really bad couple of moths and I have recently learned how to "cheat" and eat more than I should but I can't seem to get motivated to get this show on the road and I don't want everything I have been through in the past year (including 5 complications and.

Bed rest.

For 3 and half months) to be for nothing. Does anybody have any advice or words of encouragement to help me get through this difficult time?..

Good question... I dunno what is the answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I find an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could assist you..

I am so sorry that you have had to go through so much. I think you should be kind and gentle to yourself. If you have found out how to "cheat" with the pouch, then perhaps you are going to need to seek your own "higher power" for the strength to stop. For me that is God but I think much of what is in recovery applies to us. We are recovering from a Medifast food addiction and we need support. You have mine and all of us here and you have your higher power...Bless you..

The mirror test typically did the trick for me..

Find a full length mirror, take all your cloth off and jump up and down for a good minute or two if you even can. Now if you like what you see don't do a thing but if that body is still bouncing around and all fulll of fat and that body is not the one you want for the rest of your life than get back on your horse and keep riding girl..

I recommend taking advantage of every resource that is available, including a good therapist. Ask yourself what is the big emotion you are feeling and not naming, not acknowledging? Is that why you are eating? Take it to God, take it to a BFF, take it to a therapistbut get support now before it becomes a bigger problem...

That's the old "you" trying to make a come back! ha, ha laugh in it's face. Please see someone to help...thank God you recognize it and talked about it here..This is going to be a bitter battle to the end. Yep, I know that. My old "frienemy" shows up every now and then just to check up on me to see if I am still strong...well, I am and if I am not, I have you all to help. You are a pillar of resolved strength and you will not be broken...

Hey JC.....are date is the same. I have hit that plateau myself. I can say that I eat a bit more, but not anything that I think would be bad. My Dr did tell me that the weight loss would slow down, I just didn't think this much..

I lose a couple pounds, plateau a few weeks or more, then lose a few more pounds..

If I continue in this way another month, I'm gonna go back and do the 5 day pouch test. Of course I'm waiting, cause I'm headed to Ireland in 9 days..
