I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an decent answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you help..
Ok the page I want to added this script above to is.
I put the about in a seperate file and called it auction.js..
With this below I get what I wrote and nothing else...
Did I mention I am new to programming..
Erm... put the <script> stuff in with the rest of the HTML output.....
Please forgive me I am so new to this stuff that I don't really understand..
This is the whole file that I put in the stuff/include/language/auction.php.
I put the the script above in a html (the java script in the first post).
In a file in the stuff/includes area. I called that auction.js.
Stuff is the name instead of catalog..
Thank you for your help..
PLease help me this would be so cool if I could get it working.
I did it and if anyone wants to show ebay auctions in your oscommerce store please contant me..
I want to add this to the oscommerce contrbutions but Not sure if I can because this requires auctive.com.
Showcase.. and you have to purchase it from them...
But you can download the files I created from.
You do not have to create an account or checkout you can just download it from there...
And If anyone can tell me if it is cool to put it in the contributions I would be happy too...
I am trying to use the code below for a side box and it isn't working I get a parse error...
Is there some way of adding this or should I put it out the boxes..
Thank you for your help.
You're likely getting a parse error because of some unescaped quote, etc....
I find it's better with PHP to "exit" PHP-mode by a ?> ...code the html... then reenter PHP with <?php ....
For longer JS like that though, I'd just stick it in an external .js file and reference it with a <script> tag.....
